Praise the Lord,
I am preparing a brochure on the GNC. It will be initially at our booth at the AWCF World Congress in Evansville, Indiana in May, but will also mailed out with a packet of materials to a number of ministers and churches.

What I am looking for are very short testimonies about how the GNC has been a blessing to you. If possible I would like to use First Name and Last Initial under the testimony.

Please post them here or email them to me. IF possible keep them doen to about 2 short sentances. We probably won't use all of them, but we will use some of them.

Besides, if you post them here your brothers and sisters will know they have been a blessing to you.

I really want this forum to be a blessing, to go beyond argueing, there really isn't much of that. It even seems there is less since we moved to the new program. Anyway, I appreciate all of you!

Brother John:

Indeed, I appreciate the Cafe. I enjoy sharing with others what the Lord has done for me as well as reading good things from others as well. It is a great place to share with others of like precious faith. I enjoy reading things that the Word has spoken to others about, especially if it concerns how we can better live an overcoming life to make our run here successful.

The GNC has allowed me the opportunity to meet those of like precious faith, and enjoy the spiritual fellowship that is found here. I have found it to be not just another discussion forum, but a family of believers that take the time to love and care about each other.

Greetings, Brother John.

I love the GNC! The topics are relevant, the discussions are meaningful, and the people are the greatest. There are hundreds of saints, that I am now friends with, thanks to you and the Good News Cafe.

P.S. If I make it to the AWCF Congress, I'll be sure to look you up.

His Name is Jesus!

And WHAT a blessing!

I was chatting in another room (trinitarians), having loads of fun. I was there FOR THEM. I am here FOR ME.
Thank you, Church.

I have to say that since I have joined the Cafe, I have grown some and I tremendously enjoy this fellowship.

I ran upon this board at a time in my life when I was not sure where I belonged. It could have been the death of me (spiritually) but instead I received life here at the Cafe. Still receiving life. God bless you all my brothers and sisters!

I even appreciate the folks that perturbed me a little!

Made me dig into my word deeper for nuggets of truth.

Thank you for this ministry.

Love, Sis. Wenona

Hi Bro.Atkinson,
Since I have been a member of the Good News Cafe I have had to dig even deeper into my bible than ever before.People who post here won't take a JUST BECAUSE answer. You have to back your mouth with the WORD OF GOD.Also the wonderful feeling of fellowship and being able to share deep thoughts on the word with like minded sisters and brothers.
I have formed some friendships here with other Apostolic ladies that I would not have met any other place.I am a people person and the GNC is a great place to meet the family of God.
Since we are all REAL brothers and sisters anyway because of the blood of Jesus.Grace and Peace to each and every one of you who I make contact with. You have made a big difference in my life.

I think the GNC is great for the young and old in the faith. Young, because you can ask questions your too shy to ask honestly at home or in church, and old because you get to sharpen yourself with others who have attained much experience with Jesus. PTL for the GNC.

After reading Faithchild's post I realized why would I hide my name. I'm for all intents an purposes a "nobody" so I doubt harldy anybody would say, "Hey, I know him". I don't think anybody's out to get me or my family, anyway.

Regardless I trust the Lord to protect..

Bro. John,
When I first started on here almost 2 years ago, I had issues, and hurts....somethings I thought I quite believing in.....but after airing out my quirks, most of those things simmered down, and I was able to let them go, and hang on to my beliefs. Somethings that I had questioned for years, someone else here on GNC showed me that I was not off the mark. And through all this it has made me stronger. I know what the scripture teaches and what it doesn't. I also know that somethings are better left alone. It has truly blessed me, and brought closer to my Jesus and for that I am eternally grateful, for I was sinking.......I thank all of you for your Godly input. How great it is to be able to discuss these things with people of like precious faith!! And it is so much fun to get to know Jesus Name people all over the world!

The Good News Cafe offers that rare opportunity to ask the unaskable questions without fear of judgment or reprisal. The relentless pursuit of Truth is the goal. The precise examination of church tradition and doctrine is often not for the faint of heart. It is a present-day example of offering your understanding of God and letting the prophets judge to see if it be from God.

Living up in western Canada, there is not a lot of apostolic fellowship opportunities, but the Good News Cafe allows me to interact with, and learn from apostolics all over North America, and beyond. The Good News Cafe has been a great belssing to me!

I've learned a LOT about the scriptures from the GNC. It's a great place to learn more about apostolic doctrine and ask questions and get great answers and feedback.
