Brother Price

...to where I needed to be. Praise the Lord, GNCer's. This has been quite a day, nut I want to share with you the basics of the outcome thereof.
I have been without a church home for two months now, due to my own stupidity. I admit it. I was stupid to go the route I did. In any event, I was wanting to visit Irvington UPC one more time, and hope I could make it my church home here in Houston. I thought in my ignorance that it was liberal. Man, was I wrong. They are true blue people of God, much like you all on here.
In any event, a Brother Renfro preached tonight, and the message was just what I needed. I had literally thrown in the towel earlier today, considered myself a worthless failure, and was about to walk away from the church scene all together. The message tonight was simple, and I could say it was from the Lord, "Don't Gove Up! Throw Back Your Shoulders, Lift Up Your Head, And Keep Going On In What The Lord Has Called You To Do!" The choir was awesome, the prayer was too. But the Word, man, that was the icing on the diabetic sugar free chocolate cake!
I went forward. I did not get touched by Jesus. I got it smeared all over me. I danced, jumped, whooped, hollared, jerked, jived, and probably scared a few of them. I get refilled with the Spirit tonight, and walked out totally changed.
During the altar call, a brother came up to me, and said to me, "You have fouond your church home." I was then invited by a brother and the pastor himself to join with them. Hallelujah, I said yes!
So, I founds me a church home, and refilled, and yes, I feel better, so much better, since I laid my burdens down! :spin: :spin: :spin:
   Ride On King Jesus!
