Neither. They are both dead horses in the road and in the way of more viable candidates. Someone needs to drag them out of the road. IMHO.:D

That would not be an answer.And just so its said both are very incedible statesmen. A dead horse would be someone like Al Sharpton who had the smallest idea on how goverment should work I have ever seen in a presidental candidate.

Mccain has an adversarial and contrarian attitude. He is just plain counterpruductive.

Romney is slick like Clinton and riding an elephant instead of a donkey.

None have the different components Bush has.

Fred Thompson is playing it cool right now. The press cannot really attack him until he declares his candidacy.
But of all those in the running I believe he has the greatest chance of success. He has name recognition (from his role on Law & Order) as well as perhaps the most conservative platform.

McCain -- does not eat boogers as well as Bush

Romney -- will never be as ugly as Bush

Clinton -- could never be satisfied with only one ugly woman like Bush is with Laura.

The Elephant -- has too many brains compared to Bush

The Donkey -- only drops little round ones and could never splatter it all over the world like Bush
