God is in Control

Back in April I had put in a prayer request on the Apostolic Prayer Network and it read as what is written below

My husband (Brother Devon Barrett) will be going to the doctor 4/11 for a check-up with his oncologist neurologist. The doctor wants to give him 6 treatments of Temodar a chemo drug and he has only has had two treatments since October. My husband had a tumor removed 4 years ago this July and last August a spot appeared again on his mri and he had surgery and it wasn't anything but radiation spotting. As a precaution the doctor wanted him to take this chemo drug Temodar. I just don't like this chemo drug. It knocks his system so down. Please be in prayer for him that maybe this doctor will do another mri and his brain scan will be normal, and the doctor will feel like he doesn't need anymore chemo. At revival last Sunday night the preacher called us to the front of the church and told us the Lord said our promise is coming and that we would be richly blessed. I want my husband healed and we both want to have a baby our daughter is 6 going on 7. In the lovely name of Jesus.Christy

Guess what? The Lord has richly blessed us. My husband got a clean bill of health back at his doctors appointment and the doctor hasn’t had him on any chemo since the very first week of January, and we are expecting a baby March 29 of next year. God is so great and I just can’t praise Him enough for how he has blessed our family. We went to the doctor and we got to see the baby’s heart beat. God is so Great!!! I thank all of the prayer warriors that sincerely pray over prayer request.

I've had several healings in my life I owe to our Lord Jesus Christ.
But I will only tell of one for now. About three months ago I was bitten by a spider; brown Lacuse and went to the ER where they treated it with an antibiotic and some other medicine. The bite spread fast into my blood stream. It was on my arm and got as big around as a baseball (in size). The medicine they gave me sent me back to the ER after I noticed I was allergic to the medicine. This was about three days of being on the medicine. This doctor gave me some pain medicine as I was in pain and some medicine to clear up the allergic reaction from the other medicine. I wondered why they didn't place me on any more antibiotics as I had only been on it for three days. My arm started looking worse and about two days later I bent over in severe pain in my back coming around towards the sides of my front side. I go back into Er anad they place me on a IV, to give me pain medicine to stop the pain, in which it worked. But at this point they thought I had kidney stones as they did a UA and found blood in the culture and they did a cat scan as they said from the blood they found meant I was having kidney stones. Thats why I was in so much pain, so they said.
After they read the test I had with the cat scan and exrays and etc, they tell me they can't find no kidney stones and then said it could be from the spider bite. They really couldn't tell me. So they give me more medicine and I go home.
After this I made a appointment with my own doctor about 3o miles away. As soon as I saw him and he looked at my and after explaining about the three trips to ER and how they thought I had kidney stones he tells me that I don't have kidney stones at all, that the pain I was in was from the spider bite and that they should of kept me on antibiotics for a full ten days. So he places me on more medicine. My arm at this time turned black and blue and purple and is really looking bad. All along I had been having our church pray for healing in my arm from the spider bite and also prayed myself daily for healing and thanking the Lord for my healing.
I went back to my doctor at least three times for lab to see if the blood poisioning was still in my system. The last time I went in they called me on the phone after they got my lab results and said they needed to place me on more medicine. As the church and pastor and myself and my husband kept praying for healing I again went for Lab and decided to stop in and see the doctor but he was not in. The (nurse) said she would let him know I wanted him to look at my arm as it was still itching and in some pain. But the blue and purple and black coloring had left. It looked as though it was getting better. But the knot was still in my arm.
The nurse told me that it would go away as long as it was not blck and blue or purple. If it was starting to discolor it meant the bite was eating away my arm. And so praise God she had just confirmed my healing. I said, O' well its already turned black and blue and purple, and she said if it had done that you would have a big hole in your arm. "I knew then the Lord had already healed my arm and it is a matter of time folr him to take the knot away in which I still have but it has gotten smaller.
The nurse and a few other people at the doctors office said, that all the people they knew with a spider bite it ate away so much of their skin leaving them holes as big as baseballs and they had to have plastic surgery. Praise the Lord for God is still a healing God today. And is never a far away God, and is always right on time.

I grew up in the church, the wor4d of God was part of my life. I Have been in the ministry for 33 years. The Word of God was my life. I studied the word in dept. Just six years ago I had a construction accident and fell 40 feet. I had broken many bones, besides internal damage. After several days in the hospital I reached over to pick up the Bible to read, it was then I discovered that I had lost my ability to read and to remember the word. All I could do was just stare at the pages and cry. After close to six months of not able to guote or read the Word, it was time to have a talk with God. I prayed this way: Lord you have broken my body and I may not be able to walk again and that I will except, your will be done. But to take the Word of God out of my life and heart and head is not exceptable. As I was praying the Spirit moved on me to pick up the Bible. I opened the Bible and as I looked at the scripture It came together. I began to read slow at first, but I read the Word that was so dear to my heart. Then I quoted a scripture, than another, than another. By the end of three days all the scripture plus had returned. I was reading, quoting the Word of God again. The power of the Word.

Thank God for His Word. I can even preach a sermon again.

God is in control...... I have to Thank God for all the blessing that I recieve from him day to day in my life. What a mighty God we serve that he did provide us everything but yet we complaint , that it is not enough. Talking about blessing, I am so bless to have a holy ghost and talk in tongue, and for giving me the strenght to fight for the trials that I have in my life this time. I trust my God and I believe that he is in control of everything , so I pray that he will guide me and be with me in my trouble and trials. Believe me, I am so happy to survive and wake up everymorning to face the everyday problem that I have untill the time that God will give me the complete Victory over the devil. . I am already having my victory, having the spirit of God with me and to have peace and joy even for a problem that I am facing, I have peace and joy with God. I really dont know how I survive untill now. ,,, I f I dont have God? My god give me the light everyday to continue to live for him. He keep me in the church and bless me to speak in tongue, everyday, and give me peace.
