We really like this.
Take fresh cabbage and slice it very thinly with your knife
and then saute it in a frying pan with a little canola oil and add caraway seeds.
Then eat
The amount I use are as follows
1/2 head small green cabbage
1 t. canola oil
1 t caraway seeds
I saute until it is to your desired doneness.
Enjoy!
caution... makes gas, do not eat before you are going to church...lol
or eat and take BEANO :-)
sorry but its true

"Specially if there's gonna be an awsome move of God in the house". LOL
Sounds like a good dish tho' cause I love boiled cabbage. And I like to keep things simple too.

We recently visited Mobile and my SIL's DIL had made a dish and brought some over. Of course she is from Illinois and her cabbage was half cooked, but it still tasted good.
It's a good thing it tastes better than it smells, or no one would eat cabbage.

Do you cut them up in small pieces before you cook them, and do you add a tblsp of sugar?

It is well seasoned sausage and I think it is manufactured in the Mobile, Al. area. it sure seasons cabbage well.
BTW Sister Sparrow, how are you and your family, and is this unusual weather causing you much pain?

I think it's actually spelled Conecuh...it really is an old fashioned style link sausage. :)

Thank you MawMaw for the correct spelling of the sausage, I had recently used mine up and tossed the package, and I wasn't sure of the spelling. I knew those who were familiar with it would know what I was talking about.
Sorry Sister Sparrow for keeping you guessing. :shades:

We lately frequented Cellular and my SIL's DIL had created a food and introduced some over. Of course she is from Il and her clothing was 50 % baked, but it still viewed excellent.
