Why go to church

I see so many people every day mostly young men who goes to some kind of church just about every Sunday and yet when you get around them all they talk about is sleeping with some beside their wife they eveith don't believe Jesus when he said no sin will enter heaven or their pastor just don't preachagainst sin why wast the time in going to church if you going to live for the devil?

Some people may use church as a social meeting place.
church is a time to get fed from your pastor, to worship the Lord
and give him praise.

The Bible does say do not forsake the assembling of ourselves together.

And rather than using other places to meet and fellowship with people church is the FIRST place where we should meet others.

We are in the world but not of it.

WEll I'm guessing that its a personal thing with any person, some people are really good at convincing themselves that its the "others" that are sinners..and the preaching is to someone else..and that the BIBLE is just a book anyway..and no one is gonna make them change if they don't want to., also some of these types go just to make it SEEM that they are christian.
Just pray for 'em.
