Riding the Beast…
“…I saw a woman sitting upon a scarlet-colored beast…arrayed in purple and scarlet color, and decked with gold and precious stones, and pearls…drunken with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus…”
Ever notice how the Lord’s wife is dressed AFTER the marriage feast? It is “…GRANTED that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of the saints.” That is quite a contrast, yes?
"We live in two realms: the natural realm, and the spiritual realm. These realms run parallel one to another and cannot contradict each other. Righteousness proclaimed in the spiritual realm, will manifest itself righteous in the natural realm: so will evil that is proclaimed in the spiritual realm manifest itself evil, in the natural."
The woman sitting upon the beast is the false church, who is even now committing fornication with the kings of the earth. She is rich and adorned with fine jewelry: and she believes that she is ruling the earth and all its wealth. Because she is foolish, she is unaware that there are no reins on the beast, and it is the beast who is leading the false church: until he has no more use for her.
I see the false church being led away by the deceitfulness of riches, proclaiming a gospel of prosperity; succumbing to the cares of this world. She does not give any tithes: she INVESTS in the things which she believes are of God. She is led to believe that she can put men into power; and being a harlot, she is used to dealing with men.
I saw her works in late 1999, as she sold all manner of goods, and books, about how to survive the crash that was to come in Y2K…and nothing happened. But she made her money. The beast leads her to believe that the “Rapture” is about to take place, and she prints and sells books on what to do after the rapture, and how to win souls…while she remains clueless of the real Gospel.
I saw her get her minions together and “elect” men into high positions in government in 1980, under the banner of Christianity. Then again, in 1990: electing a man into office, who later was "born again". I see her ministers preaching the gospel of death upon anyone who opposes her; instead of investing time to preach life, so they may live.
“What? Know you not that he which is joined to a harlot is one body? ‘For two’, saith he, ‘shall be one flesh.’ ” Why do we suppose that the Spirit is crying, “Come out of her, my people, that you not be partakers of her sins.”? We need to examine ourselves. Are we truly preaching the Gospel: or are we being tempted to ride the beast?
