If you ladies need some tips, advice, etc., in regards to hairdos, try checking with Foreverblessed! She does an excellent job fixing hair! She explains what to do really well too! First hand experience speaking here! I had the privilege of meeting her this past week and she was kind enough to fix my hair and share instructions. :)
Also, I must mention that Searching also does an excellent job fixing hair. She fixed mine while we were at Youth Congress and I got spoiled quick! Now I don't have either one of them to help me so I am trying to do what they did. I'm getting there...slowly! *SIGH* I'm just not good with even the most simple dos. The whole thing is a big lesson in patience! ~L~ I've wanted to throw the hair brush more than once!

Well Thank You LadyRev, I enjoyed meeting with too! I like to fix hair, I used to fix everyone's hair at camp growing up, and still do go up just to fix my kid's hair at camp, and ending up doing as many as I can get done before church starts.
Now I knew there was a reason God gave me three girls. We usually have an assembly line around here for hair fixing! :)

When I was single two of my friends Sister Bernice from Milton Florida Church and Sister Joyce Penton who has gone on to meet the Lord did my hair.It was so nice to have them dote over me.I personally did not have the best experience doing my hair at that time. But I learned a trick or two from them.My mom was a hairdresser.I think my oldest daughter got it from her.She has really long beautiful hair that would put Crystal Gayle to shame. Its not quite to the floor but not far from it.lv sis.c

My daughter (16) loves to fix hair.
Before revival or if were going to fellowship another church somewhere ( which simply means Jill and her friends are boy hunting lol ) ) she has to make the rounds to their homes and fix their hair..
Her talent did not come from me..:-(

It comes as second nature to me. I have three older sisters, and just watched them. I can put my hair up in most hairstyles without ever looking in a mirror. From any kind of updo you want. I like to french braid too. I french braid but it lookes like the braid is laying on top of the head.
My daughter Elaine has really thick and long hair. I love to fix hers. My youngest has the hair fixin knack already, I very rarely fix hers. She has it all under control.

FB's girls are absolutely beautiful! And for their ages, they are quite intelligent. She claims they are monsters sometimes (LOL!), but they were very well behaved when I was there. They also got along together very well, much more than my kids ever do! I wish I could have spent more time with all of them. Thank God for the future!

Very very funny LR! :)
Thank you Searching for the kind complements about my girls. To me they are special. Duh, I wonder why? I have been so proud of them recently. I went to work full time a couple of weeks ago, and left them home alone. I would come home for lunch, and they had prepared my lunch, and were busy cleaning. I have been bragging on them. When I came home in the evening they were starting dinner, they even had candles burning.
I mentioned this on another thread. I have been teaching them to sing in harmony. I think I have figured out who gets what part. My oldest and youngest have the strongest and best voices. Elaine sounds just like me. I have those two carrying either the soprano or alto part, and then I have my middle child taking the high tenor part. She does it pretty natural too. I have really been impressed. It is providing an activity for us to do together. We drive around town singing in the van, I am so proud of them.
I have them listening to the CD of the Davenport Girls. There are six of them, and they sing the whole CD in harmony accapella. sp

BTW, The girl in the blue jean skirt and white top (Elaines clothes) is the girl that went to camp with my girls and received the HG on Wed night. Unfortunately she had to return to a home where the Mom was drunk all weekend after the camp. I took her home with me and delayed her going home to that mess. Pray for her, her name is Tamera.

FB's girls are very sweet. I called FB before our little trip and Elaine answered the phone. I had never talked to her before, and she didn't know how I knew her name, so I kinda scared her a little. After she calmed down, I talked to her a bit, and she said something really funny to me. I asked her what she was doing while her mom was gone, and she said, "Cleaning my room. For some strange reason, my mom doesn't like stuff all over the floor!" I was laughing real good, and still am! It was great the meet them all in the flesh.
