From what I understand, he was climbing a ladder against a tree to get his cat out of it and th eladder buckled causing him to land on the ground on his back.

He's going in for surgery either today or tomorrow.

Cats undoubtedly are behind many 'accidents' incurred by well meaning owners or catlovers...the cat walks away unscathed, again never knowing or caring what happened to the poor human. :mad:
I've had many a close call trying to help out an ungrateful cat!
This person is undergoing excruciating pain, I'm sure, the LORD will heal him for his good deed, GOD is merciful!
