God bless you, GNC family!

The recent events in the world and things I have been going through in my own life have had me thinking more and more about the end times.

We are truly living in wicked times, and the longer I live, the more I can see how easy it is gonna be for Christains to be oppressed and persecuted by others. They are gonna stop our right to worship as we please here in America. They are gonna try to control our every move. We won't be able to freely worship in church bldgs. as we do now. They are going to monitor our web use to see if we are frequenting religious sites. May grossly inhibit the freedom we now share on the web.

When all of this starts to occur, will we willing to lay down our lives for the name of Jesus? Be matryed for Him? This is tough, but more and more it is looking to be a reality. Some Christians may be required to lay down their lives; look at Cassie Bernall, the teenage girl who was killed at Columbine. I do not believe she had this full revelation of Jesus, but she was hungry for God. She loved the Lord, and was not afraid to do so, even in the face of death. That is powerful!

I used to be afraid to die. But now I am not, whatever happens happen. What did Esther say, if I perish, then let me perish! In the face of death, Esther faced the king and her enemies and triumphed! I guess when it comes to my enemies, once I show that devil I ain't afraid of death no more, he will back up, b/c then the power and protection of God will come in and run him off.

But until the full will of God and His Plan for my life is manifested, I wanna tell the devil....

I shall not die, but live and declare the wonderful works of the Lord!

Amen!

Love, Sis. Wenona

Dear Sister I see your heart in this, but I'll use my favorite Scripture to speak in my place,

"The Lord is my light and my salvation in who shall I fear; the Lord is the strength of my life in whom shall I be afraid? When the wicked even my enemies and my foes came to eat of my flesh they stumbled and fell. Thou and host shall encamp against me my heart shall not fear, though wars shall rise against me in this will I be confident; One thing have I desired of the Lord, that I may dwell in his temple for in a time of trouble in the secret of his pavillion shall he hide me...

I thank God that salvation means simply a place of safety and what better place than in Jesus. For the Lord is a Strong Tower and the righteous run into it and they are safe.

His Name is Jesus!

We are to "...die daily..." The more adept we become at this 'dying', the less afraid we will be of the physical death. Remember, also, that NOT EVERYONE is called to be a martyr. During harvest time, not ALL the seed was to be used for the planting; only the 'first fruits'.
Beloved, the Lord will only CHOOSE and PLANT the BEST, which will then "...bring forth a thirty, sixty, and a hundredfold..."

What happens Sister Wenona is that the enemy wants to shut up our witness and get us on the old...poor persecuted me theme. When we refuse and begin to praise the louder it really irritates him.lv sis.c
