Prayer and suggestions please.

All the prayer and suggestions possible would be greatly appreciated.
Just recently my husband and I were asked to become the new youth leaders. After lots of prayer and thought we accepted.
When we were in the youth we had alot of ideals, but now that we are actually over the youth we are clueless. We have a very small church with an even smaller youth group so that probally eliminates alot.
We are supposed to have our first meeting Friday, but we're not sure what to do. So we're praying about it and I'm asking everyone to pray.

WEll first off get to know the youth better, ask for their input...and make sure to encourage bible reading/prayer, meditation, etc., help them out with plans to that effect, maybe. Discipline, discipline, discipline! ;)

THEN you all can start helping plan 'fun' stuff for them along with the above. Just my thoughts.
I think its necessary to find each one's strengths, weaknesses, and talents (if possible) to incorporate them into a Spirit 'team' able to leap tall buildings [oops, sorry I mean 'mountains')!! lol

I've never been or done anything, YET, to this effect, (youth); as you've mentioned it is a husband/wife team chosen to responsibly lead the youth. I bet it'll take a lot! I would expect some 'counseling' even, might be part of it...I'll be praying that you all have a prosperous time ahead of you, with those few [but about to grow! :D ], special young people in your care! :D

Have a prayer meeting and teach those young people how to minister one to the other.The world beats on the door daily.They need love and acceptance and to learn how to touch God.lv sis.c
