Broken Tumb

I broke my thumb about two weeks ago, its the bone that is from the tip of the thumb to the joint thingy in the middle. It hurts to write and other stuff, and well I have no money to goto a doctor without insurence, so I really need God to move in this.

Could that be why you misspelled "thumb"??? Its sure tuff without a thumb, just as would be with a big toe. Or little toe. GOD sure knew what HE was doing in giving us just the right amount of hand and foot digits!
HE can also fix anything HE's constructed, and HE will......so just wrap it with like an ace bandage at least. They do make a thumb brace, not too too expensive, I've seen at drugstores, like Walgreens, Eckerds..try to get one.
Breaks just gotta take their given time to heal. Perhaps a nurse here might give you more professional advice.

Brother there is an aluminum type splint that fits over your thumb that you can then wrap gauze dressing around and splint it.But honestly is there any way you can get it xrayed.I have a finger actually my left pointer that was injured while peeling sugar cane with a large knife.I hacked into the joint.Well needless to say it bothers me still and it was about thirty years ago.When I play and instrument it gets sore sometimes.You will regret it if that thumb grows funny.lv sis.c

Well hmm about the xray thing, no there is no place around here to get an xray for under $75 if you dont have insurrence. *sigh* I am only one credit hour short for being eligible for insurrence, my dad is trying to talk his way into letting me still be on his insurence since i KNOW i will be full time in january, but um until then I cant goto any doctor within 30 miles without being charged and arm and a leg or in this case a thumb LoL
I am goign to check into the brace thing as soon as i get some more money LoL

What sis c. said reminded me of when my son also broke his wrist, a few years back. We did have insurance then at least and I took him to a 'sports injury' doctor who xrayed and wow! It showed where it was going crooked already and you can't even tell looking at it. So he did in-office surgery on it, [he was sedated] fixed it right, put a cast on it, and its been fine.
Those hand specialist doc's sure know their business!

It can always be fixed LATER, by a doctor re-breaking it, I think. At least thats what I heard about some bones, like noses [maybe thats not really a bone, but gristle]! I had a broken nose once, the doc said I could get it fixed the easy way-get sedated have surgery in the hospital (which I did) or he could just reach out at me, grab my nose, and straighten it that way - ouch, that hurts just thinkin about it.
Broken bones are nothing to sneeze at. Im always amazed at the new 'inventions' or help aids, available nowadays at the drugstore. Braces, bandages, wraps for most anything. Those metal splints are neat! Brother I'll keep praying for you that the LORD makes a way for you some help.

First you will need to splint it.
You are going to have to use your other hand and align the bones straight which will be painful so take 800 mg of Ibuprofen 2 hrs before for anesthetic purposes and to reduce the inflammation and swelling.
Then take the sides of a wooden clothes pin and put the smooth sides to the part of the thumbs that usually bend(where it cannot bend) aligned from the base of the thumb and to the tip of the thumb, wrap snuggly with self adhering tape or paper tape which you can buy at the drugstore.

Take the 800 mg. of Ibuprofen once daily with food for three days for pain and swelling.

You will have to wear the splint for two weeks.

And still place yourself on the alter as God does work miracles.
