The Man-child

I'm posting this here in the Minister's section because I would really like responses from minister's only.

Specifically I would like responses from only those that have actually taught about "the Man-child".

If you've never heard of this term, or you've never taught on it, then I guess this will be a very short thread.

But if you have taught on it, I would like for you to share your teaching and elaborate on this term.

I have indeed taught on this subject.

Maybe not understanding :), but God causes the growth.

And growth my dear brother, takes time.

I didn't get most anything you wrote regarding the "s/Spirit" last time you wrote, but nevertheless, the impression never left my mind. It is much more clear today than it was amidst the grey clouds of dust the first time I heard it.

Thank you for sharing.

Elaboration is good, debate is unhealthy and unnecessary.

When it gets to that point brother, just back off pleasently.

Nobody sees everything the first time its presented.

Come to think of it, you may be wrong in all of it!!!

What a humbling experience to motivate us to seek Him more earnestly to be able to understand and convey Him more accurately.

Just don't tow the party line for the sake of acceptance from men.

The manchild in Greek is actually "MALE MALE." Its a double stress on the individual being a male. I once preached a message entitled a "man's man" from this text due to the greek definition. I will dig some notes up about it and post it here later.

Satan hates the idea of a man commissioned to conquer him!

All through the New Testament, demons cried out to Jesus, but refused to acknowledge Him as SON OF MAN.

* They called Him Holy One, or Son of God.
* But Christ's seemingly favourite title was SON OF MAN.
* And that reminded the devils of a MAN COMMISSIONED IN GENESIS TO CONQUER THEM!
* And they woudl not admit that.


Luke 4:3-4 And the devil said unto him, If thou be the Son of God, command this stone that it be made bread. And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.

Jesus replied that MAN would not live by bread alone, not SON OF GOD.

* He was the Son of God, yes.
* But the devil hated that fact that He was A MAN with another LIFE in Him, that Adam missed, in order to CONQUER THE DEVIL.


Luke 4:41 And devils also came out of many, crying out, and saying, Thou art Christ the Son of God. And he rebuking them suffered them not to speak: for they knew that he was Christ.

Luke 8:27-28 And when he went forth to land, there met him out of the city a certain man, which had devils long time, and ware no clothes, neither abode in any house, but in the tombs. When he saw Jesus, he cried out, and fell down before him, and with a loud voice said, What have I to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of God most high? I beseech thee, torment me not.

Matthew 8:29 And, behold, they cried out, saying, What have we to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of God? art thou come hither to torment us before the time?

Satan would always say SON OF GOD.

I am preaching about A MAN'S MAN!

1 John 4:1-3 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.

The devil will REFUSE to confess that Jesus is come IN THE FLESH because to admit that would be to admit that A MAN CAN CONQUER HIM!

Jesus was God incarnate as MAN, and as man depended on ANOTHER LIFE.

John 14:10 Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.

John 15:10 If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love.

John 5:19 Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise.

John 5:30 I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me.

Jesus relied upon that other life.

* The knowledge of good and evil urges someone to rely upon their own thinking.

Satan is concerned about GOOD.

God is concerned about LIFE.

* And God's LIFE will move you to do GOOD.
* But don't put the cart before rthe horse and try to do good without God's life.

Satan's biggest fear is what I am preaching today.

* Its to preach that MAN can get filled with God's Spirit and DEPEND UPKN THAT LIFE and thereby CONQUER SATAN!
* If that's his fear, then let's concentrate upon that!

JESUS IS A MAN'S MAN.

After the cross, Christ ascended upo on high.

Ephesians 1:20-22 Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places, Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come: And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church, And the devil hates to think of a MAN far above him!

But God wanted a CORPORATE MAN.

AND HE HAS IT IN THE CHURCH.

* As Adam multiplied and became two, Christ's church came from his bone and flesh.
* And the children of the church are the multiplied children of Christ... the corporate man.


Ephesians 1:4 According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:

We're in Chirst as Eve was originally in Adam as his rib, taken forth and reuinted to him as one flesh again.

And Satan hates the thought of THE CORPORATE MAN ABOVE HIM.

Ephesians 2:6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus: Satan BEGS for us not to learn these truths!

A MAN is over him.

A MAN overcomes him.

Revelation 12:1-4 And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars: And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered. And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads. And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born.

The devil cannot see this MAN come to power.

BUT COME TO POWER HE DID!

Revelation 12:5 And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne.

Notice the term MAN CHILD.

MAN is the translation of the Greek word ARRHEN (pronounced: ar'-hrane)

* It is simply a MALE.

But it is interesting to note the Greek word translated as CHILD.

Child is translated from the Greek word:

HUIOS (pronounced: hwee-os')

* This word means SON OF MAN.

So we have the literal translation as MALE SON.

* A SON is male, anyway!
* Why say, "MALE SON"?
* Because its a MAN'S MAN!
* A DOUBLE STRESS upon the fact that a MAN is the conqueror on the throne.
* A MAN'S MAN!

This drives the devil crazy!

This male son's ascension to the throne caused the devil to be thrown out of the heaven!

Revelation 12:7-9 And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven. And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

And then we read:

Revelation 12:11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.

How can WE overcome, when it was CHRIST who went to the throne?

A CORPORATE MAN.

Ephesians 2:15 Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace;

A MAN'S MAN!

This is God's original plan!

* The battle never was between God and the Devil.
* Its between MAN AND THE DEVIL.
* AND IN CHIRST WE WIN!

Let us depend upon the LIFE OF CHRIST IN US!

John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

JESUS IS OUR LIFE.

It seems that God has pre-determined a mature son of God (the Man-child - not only in a corporate sense but in an individual sense as well) to come forth in this earth and be as He is!!!

1 John 4:17 KJV ...because as he is, so are we in this world.

Who is the Manchild of Rev.12? What is his role in end times?

1. And there appeared a great wonder in heaven, a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon

The woman is the New Testament Church. She is clothed with the sun.
For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have PUT ON CHRIST. Gal. 3:27
The moon is under her feet.
And hath raised us up together and made us sit together in HEAVENLY PLACES IN CHRIST JESUS. Eph. 2:6
On her head is a crown of 12 stars.
This speaks of the mind of the Apostles.
And they continued steadfastly in the apostles doctrine:

2. And she being with child cried, travailing in birth and pained to be delivered.

It is what is in her that is giving her pain.

3 And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads.
4 And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born.

The dragon is satan and the ten horns are endtime nations.

And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet, but receive power as kings one hour with the beast. Rev. 18:12

His tail represnts the false teaching of the end time.

15 The ancient and honourable, he is the head; and the prophet that teacheth lies, he is the tail.
16 For the leaders of this people cause them to err; and they that are led of them are destroyed. Isaiah 9:15-16

His tail (doctrine) draws a third of the stars of heaven and casts them to the earth.

The stars of heaven speaks of the saints who dwell in heavenly places in Christ. Multitudes are deceived and fall from their heavenly position IN CHRIST. They return to earthly affections and desires.

The devil stands before the woman to destroy the fruit of her womb. Why does he focus his attack on the CHILD?

And she brought forth a MAN CHILD, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up to God
and to his throne.

When we see who the child is we will understand why the enemy wants it destroyed!

And he that OVERCOMETH and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations:
And he shall rule them with a rod of iron: Rev. 2:26-27

The Manchild represents end time overcomers! Their purpose will change the direction of the Church. God says he will come for a glorious church.

That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, wrinkle, or any such thing: but that it should be holy and woithout blemish. Eph. 5:27

How do we get from where we are today to the goal God has set for his people? That's what the Man Child is all about.

Right now there is a small group of end time disciples that take God seriously. They are being trained and disciplined by his word and Spirit. They are "hidden away" in their mothers womb. This insures they will not be carried away in pride and move ahead of the plan of God. It looks like to the church in general that they are a failure! Their preaching of JUDGMENT and PERFECTION gives grief and pain. They meet in small home churches and are called "cultists".

God sees it another way! The church in general has lost its way long ago. It seems that unity and full stature is just a visionaries dream! But wait! God is working his "quick work".

Caught up to the throne of God? This is not referring to what we call the rapture! I believe there will be a literal coming of Jesus to gather his saints in the clouds. The catching up of the Man Child is on the same spiritual level as these other two notable experiences in scripture.

I knew a man In Christ above 14 years ago, (whether in the body, I cannot tell, or whether out of the body I cannot tell: God knoweth such an one CAUGHT UP to the third heaven.
2 Cor. 12:2

After this I looked and behold a door was in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me, which said, COME UP HITHER and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter.
And immediatley I was in the Spirit: and behold a throne was set in heaven and ONE SAT ON THE THRONE. Rev. 4:1-2

Here we have two men, leaders of Gods people taken up to hear heavenly things. After Gods purpose in bringing them there is fulfilled he then sent them BACK! Was it literal or "in the spirit"? John said he was in the Spirit. Paul said he could not tell. Nonetheless the experience was so real to both of them they mentioned it in their writings!

When the time is right, when God has brought the end time overcomers to the place he can use them they WILL RECEIVE A LIKE EXPERIENCE! They will be caught up to God. They will receive end time instruction. Their doctrine will be the doctrine of heaven and they will be given a "rod of iron" to back it up with!

When they"return" they have a command to FEED the people of God. The devil has chased them to the wilderness. But God already had a plan for their deliverance!

And the woman fled into the wilderness where she hath a place prepared of God THAT THEY SHOULD FEED HER THERE a thousand two hundred and three score days.

The question is: Who are the THEY who shall feed her?

They are those who UNDERSTAND. Those who have been in training for this very thing. Now their ministry is finally released! Gods power backs them up as he backed up his servant Moses in the wilderness.

And such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he corrupt
by flatteries: but the people that do know their God SHALL BE STRONG AND DO EXPLOITS! Dan. 11:32

What exploits might we expect? How about multipying food?
Healing the sick? Blinding the eyes of those who seek to destroy Gods people?

And THEY THAT UNDERSTAND among the people shall INSTRUCT MANY: yet they shall fall by the sword, and by flame, by captivity, and by spoil many days. Dan. 11:33

It will be the greatest time of BIBLE FEASTING in history! Christians who love Yashua but have not understood his word will be amazed as the great truths of Christ are revealed!
There will yet be a people who will come to the FULLNESS OF THE STATURE OF CHRIST!

Martyr"s? Yes! But they will rejoice that they are worthy to die for his name! Like Stephen they shall be given "dying grace".

Now when they shall fall, THEY SHALL BE HOLPEN WITH A LITTLE HELP: but many shall cleave to them with flatteries.
Dan. 11:34

Even in a great time of restoration not all will heed the message. As when Israel came out of Egypt, Gods people were fed and led supernaturally but many still fell into murmuring, complaining and sin and were cut off from Gods grace.

There it is friends. Both the bitter and the sweet! Exciting and dangerous times are ahead. Question is where will you stand in that day? Where are you standing TODAY? If one cannot serve God in the green tree what will happen in the dry!

Now is the time to crucify flesh. Now is the time to yield your members as instruments of righteousness unto holiness. God is looking for a few good men and women to labor with him in that day. My end time vision-mike
