Well...
Our prison ministry split up into two teams yesterday and went out to two local jails.
One team went to the state jail on MLK Blvd. The other went out to the Travis County correctional facility in Del Valle (right outside Austin).
The guys at MLK had 100 in attendance. They had a baptism service in which they baptized 32 in the Name of Jesus, 4 of which either went down in the water speaking in tongues, or came up doing it. Most of the rest were very close to getting the Holy Ghost, but for whatever reason, did not.
The guys that went to Del Valle (of which I was one) had 131 in attendance in two services, two gentlemen got the Holy Ghost in those services. (We are not allowed to baptize in Jesus name out there, unfortunately)
231 people got ministered to outside of the church walls on Sunday. Isn't that awesome?
God's so good!
