The warfare of the believer,
Praise the Lord saints and Beloved of God,
As we examine the war and all that is going on with it everybody is looking to gain some sort of understanding from it. Is it Prophetic, or is it not? When is the final battle befor Jesus comes?
Are we in the tribulation now or what?
Yesterday I preached "the warfare of the believer". The bible tells us that the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but are mighty through God to the pulling down of Strong holds...
Finally my brethen be strong in the Lord and in the power of his might. Put on the whole Armor of God that you may be able to stand in the evil day and having done all to stand, stand therefore. Having your loins girt about with truth....
We preached an expository message on this six Chapter in Ephesians. God has given is tools of warfare to combat the forces of the enemy, and as the war unfolds, this is not a time for us to be weary but to stand strong in the power of Jesus.
This is a time of expectation for the people of God, A time of hope for the bible says that when these things shall come to pass look up for your redemption draweth nigh.
But remember this we as the believing body of Christ are still in a fight, we are still in warfare, but notice this, Jesus said I have already overcome the devil, so we are overcomers as long as we keep our armor on. If there was ever a time to fight in the heavenlies it's now. For the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence but the violent take it by force.
Peter says we have to be sober, have self control and pray. God has not given us a spirit of fear beloved, but of love, power, and a sound mind.

Amen to that brother. As I read Eph 6 again, particularly what Paul wrote in verses 18-19, I thought about something I believe the Lord spoke to me some time ago, which was, "Light shines the brightest when it is the darkest." So we need to be prepared to let our light shine brightly. But also we need to be praying for all others to be that light that is shining brightly as well, which is a part of our testimony of Jesus to the world.

Amen sister Sandy,
You must have been sitting in the back on Sunday because I sure said the same thing concerning light, also salt.
To many saints are moved and affected by what goes on around them, if we are salt we ar supposed to change the flavor of everything, everything is not supposed to change us.
"ye are the salt of the earth the bible says, salt changes the flavor, salt preserves and protects.
This is the warfare of the believer we can change anything in the name of Jesus.
We lay on hands, we pray down strong holds, we declare the deliverance of the captives, we bind and loose. But it seems now we are living in a time where everyone is running scared.

Pastorb,
Right now, the saints of God are under extreme attack! How we fare in this warfare will depend on how seriously we take the conflict. Do we know the hour, or are we asleep in Zion?
We cannot fight the enemy dazed, we must be aware, alert, or as the Bible says, sober and vigilant, for our adversary is roaming to and fro, seeking whom he may devour. He takes this battle seriously, where do we stand?
Thank you for provoking me to thought.

Amen.
I agree that the saints of God are under severe attack. God told me there is a remnant; that remnant is standing fast in the faith.
Suffering many afflictions and being delivered, being buffeted in their bodies and being healed. Persecuted but still walking in victory. Ridiculed and mocked but the glory of God rests upon them.
It is the fight of our lives, yet most exciting times!
B/c every time we come out, there is another level of glory upon us; the scriptures says we go from glory to glory. Our faith is tested, when we finish going through one trial, another comes, but it is all a test, to see where our faith is. From faith to faith, from one level of faith to another level.
Ohh, how glorious! B/c we already have the victory!!!
Love, Sis. Wenona

amen Sister Wenona,
I believe since we are to walk as He walked, we also will have to walk thru sufferings to be made perfect (complete). Maybe this had to do with Pauls thorn in the flesh. It is whatever trial you are going thru at the time. And if anyone tells you they are not going thru anything, at least for any length of time anyway, then I have to wander about that one. We may be singing and praising God while going thru it, but I believe as long as we are in these tabernacles here, we will be going thru something, because it is this that enable Christ to bring us from glory to glory.
I heard a message some years ago that talked about not attempting to walk around the trial, but rather to walk thru it with Christ carrying you instead. Because if you don't, you will just have to return to the same or similar trial until you do.
Not by might not by power, but by my Spirit saith the Lord.
Pastor, I am believing that this war will bring about the salvation of many of those peoples over there in the end, and praying for this too.
I don't know if this war is of the Lord or not. But right now it doesn't really matter whether it is or not, because we are in it anyway. And I firmly believe what seems to be bad, God can turn it around and make it end up for the good. And that is my prayer.

ME:
EXCELLENT post, Sister...echoe'ing my sentiments exactly, good to be of one accord on things that are useful for application!
Romans 8:38 ALWAYS causes me to "faint not" for GOD has a reason/purpose for every single thing that occurs. :)
S4C:God told me there is a remnant; that remnant is standing fast in the faith.

Amen! Our preacher preached a message regarding that very fact, about 2 yrs ago, it was awesome, and anytime I even hear mention of "a remnant" it gets me so excited!! and glad that I am one of them., the LORD has been so faithful to allow me to grow, and not wither, as some have.
It always gives me encouragement to work all the harder, for "the remnant" has been given the privilege, strength, and joy to do so!
HALLELUYAH! giving GOD ALL THE GLORY!

And the fight rages on.......we are the Blood Bought and the Redeemed.......we are on THE Winning Side Hallelujah!!!
