I am going for an interview at the hosp. in Tyler tomorrow. I want the will of God.
I am presently at the Nursing home that God told me to take when we first came here.
I am working 12 hour nights and miss Wed. night services and Sunday services every other weekend.
The positon I am interviewing for is 8 hr. shifts 11 to 7 and I will be able to attend every service Wed. Nights and Sundays and still work.
The money and benefits will be better but that does not bother me much.
I just want to be in God's will.
We will still be able to hold services in the Nursing home as we are now, so that door will remain open should I get/take the new position. We have planted seed there. One prayed through to the Holy Ghost and one baptized in Jesus Name. Many have heard the plan of salvation and felt the Presence of God.

Should I move into another area I know it will be for God's purpose.
Someone else to hear, someone else to reach for.

I do not want to make a move without His approval and direction because time does not permit error where souls are concerned.

Thank you Brothers and Sisters for your prayers.

Love Ya' in Jesus!!!.......Cherokee

Bro. Ballard,
Presently we are attending the UPC Church at Troup (Bro.Weldon White) They have one service on Sun morn.
We are attending Tyler Tabernachle Sun. nights ( Bro.Mike Littlefield).
We originate from Brookland UPC where Bro. Geroge Jeffcoat pastored.
We were the outreach directors there.

We also are working on getting the Prayer Chapel started so we can have services and prayer 5a.m. to 10 p.m. for those that need a place to find refuge in prayer before work and in time of need.

We have met and talked with many many souls that have said they would love to have a place to come and pray like that.

My husband and I are ministers and we know that if we can get people established in prayer God will show up and revival will come.

Of course my husband will be available 24/7 to pray with them should they so need and desire.

We are field workers for Jesus and picking up the grain along the way. We desire to establish works for Jesus and turn it over to men of God that can carry it on to maturity for Jesus.

We like to go where they say the fields are "burned over" for new growth always springs up where the ground has been charred and burned.

Appreciate your prayers.

Love Ya' in Jesus!!!....Cherokee

Amen Sister Dever. In my backyard in Pensacola was a huge burn pile. Also in the same yard was a large cement fish pond that would not hold water. What did I do? I raked the whole burn pile minus the bottles and parts of furniture...go figure...into the pond. Then I went up and got some new top soil to place over it.I planted tomatoes and a huge herb garden. Then I went out and got some patio furniture. Before you know it I had a patio garden with furniture and served my lady friends tea etc out in the garden..lol.All you need is a place to labor and a will to see something out of nothing.Grace today to you my friend. All things work together for good to those who love the Lord and are THE CALLED according to his purpose.Take the faith walk.Being unavailable for service is enough to quit a job for me.That may have been a temporary thing to open a door of ministry and that it did.Pray, teach and preach and do the will of the Lord the fields are white to
