Greetings Brothers and Sisters in the Wonderful Name of Jesus. You know we need to bind together and pray for Iraq as never before. There are precious souls there that our God desires to save. God does want a Church of Jesus Christ there because He said, " Go into all the world and preach the Gospel to every creature." He also said that intercession should be made for all men. I found myself praying one day for the soul of Saddam H. For if he does not repent and come to the knowledge of the Lord Jesus as his Savior then he will suffer for eternity. Is anything to hard for God?
Very early in my walk with Jesus I was faced with a situation concerning a couple in our hometown. The wife had her husband murdered without mercy and then sent her little 8 or 9 year old boy up to the front porch to find him afterward without the child knowing that it was the body of his Dad so sadistic was the attack. The child thought "something dead" was on their porch.
Anyway, just as everyone else felt so did I until the Lord called my hand on the situation. The young man was a young grocer from our supermarket and well liked by the community. As I prayed for the family in my prayer time I asked the Lord,"Who in the world would go into a jail cell with such a wicked person?" And I will never forget His reply. " I Will." He said. Then He impressed upon my spirit that any of us could fall prey to such as this without the True knowledge and protection from the Lord.
I have often testified of my thankfulness of God's mercy on me. He could have made me a monkey in some jungle running from a hungry lion or He could have set me down as an Iragi or a Jew or an Indian that was cast out of their homes and ill treated.
The Spiritual Freedom I have is a gift from God and so often we have abused it by taking it for granted. Today many, many people of Iraq would trade places with us if only they could. They are suffering from both sides.
So what is God's heartbeat on the matter? Definitely not that souls should perish into the fires of Hell. Pray for God to put a Church with spiritual freedom in Iraq that the hearts of the broken and wounded can be healed by a loving God.
Today there are some I would dare say that already feel a burden for the Church that God will build. So now Saints pray for the Will of God for All in Iraq. Including those that inflict such pain for so did Paul but one day Paul made the mistake of holding the coat(mantle) of a man of God and he could not get away from the anointing he felt and because of it Paul evangelized the Gentile world.
Also pray for our country for the protesters that do not know "Prayer" is the answer and not demonstartion. Prayer will never fail when made with love in the Will of God. Anyway..Love Ya' each and everyone In Jesus!!!! Cherokee
