4-year old in serious condition

I wanted to write and request prayer for a little 4 year old who fell off of a stairway 8 foot high to a concrete floor here in Brazil. She fell last Monday, went to the hospital was hospitalized for 4 days. The doctors here only did an x-ray found a crack in her skull. They were supposed to do other tests, but because of how full the hospital was and lack of neurologist there they never did. She went back today because of pain in her neck and they found that she is in serious danger of being paralyzed because of the damage to her back and neck. Her concussion has worsened. They told us that they done a CAT scan on her and it was fine, turns out that they never did. Today they are doing the tests to find out if there is any bleeding on her brain. Please pray! The condition of the hospital is just horrible. It is dirty with people on the floor because of no room to put them. God is faithful and able to work a miracle in this little girls life. She comes from a very abusive family. She is also very precious to my heart!

Oh, how terribly sad and tragic. I will certainly be praying for her, our LORD can work miracles, and all our prayers can'tl help but intercede for her. I pray for her home life as well, her family members, etc., that there be a BIG change for the better all around. That hospital and its staff also that they be inspired by the miracle they will see in this child. I pray that someone will come in and be a benefactor towards improving that hospital.

Thank you so much for all of your prayers. She came home today. No bleeding on the brain, in fact no trouble there that we know of. She is in a neck brace and will have to stay in it for 90 days. It will be tough for her since she is so active. Pray for her mom that she will be able to take care of her the way that she needs to be. I will be checking on her everyday to make sure she is doing alright. Once again, thank you so much for your prayers

Thank the LORD, as I'm sure you are Amy. That little girl sounds like she was touched by the healing hands of Jesus.

Let us pray for the Lord to send forth laborers into His harvest, and pray for the laborers there, that true, New Testament churches in Brazil would be so soundly established, that Brazilians will not feel a dire need to seek out horrid hospitals, but rather will be sure to seek the Lord for all healing, calling on the elders of the church.

A wonderful thing I felt the Holy Ghost impressed upon me some time ago through the following scripture is that unlike most doctors today who require sick folks come to them, servant hearted, elders of the New Testament will sick go to the sick to pray for them, the way Jesus often did.

13Is any among you afflicted? let him pray. Is any merry? let him sing psalms. 14Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: 15And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him. 16Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. James 5:13-16
