The bible says that we are to meditate upon His word day and night...Joshua 1:8. The only place in the Bible it talks about success.

Psa 1:2 But his delight [is] in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he MEDITATE day and night.

It is in the meditations of the Word that the Holy Ghost speaks to us from his Word.

Jeremiah said that he was not going to Prophesy any more. Every time he prohesies something, it seems that he is made out as a false Prophet. NO more!

But he said that in his musing (meditating) his Word became like a fire shut up in his bones. He could not help but to prophesy. He could not keep it to himself. The Word was more than he could contain in silence. His meditations caused the Word to burn in him as a fire.

It is indeed like a fire that burns within us as the HOly Ghost will race our pure minds from scripture to scripture showing us the "visions of God" in ways that Ezekiel related to us. It is in these musings, meditations that we are instructed by the HOly Ghost in many mysterious and marvelous truths, always revealing Jesus.
