View Full Version : Thread for those who don't dare post on the over 40 thread

This thread is for those who may fit the requirements of the "over 40" thread, but don't dare, for fear of showing their age, and those who won't admit it anyway.
Of course, a good question would be, why did I start this thread, since I ain't that old....I mean "elderly".....errrr..."ancient"...ummm..."chronologically challenged".....oops, I'll stop now. I can feel the tomatoes flying already.

Well, seeing that many of us have our ages already listed on our profiles, what the heck!
I am only 6 as a new creation in the LORD! Can we have a "spring chicken" thread as well? I'll join you here for now, Sis Searching!
P.P.: (MY dog ate my i.d.)! :D

Evidently our city thinks it is the only store. I wouldn't mind a choice now and again. I do LOVE Walmart though. ;)
I guess I will post here on this thread, I only have 5 more years to do so. I don't like getting old! I don't feel old, I don't want to grow up! :p

Foreverblessed, I tried contacting you through AOL this morning, but you didn't respond, I think you were "idle" after a while. Did you see my messages to you when you got back? I hope you added me to your buddy list and will contact me soon.

Shaadup Xerf! :)
Actually Searching that is a scary thought, I am not currently online at home, I am using the schools computers, or the library. That means my AOL buddy list is up and running at the library for all to use! :) OH NO!!! I know this has been happening because I was sent an IM from someone who was online before me the other day. Just email me at AOL, or the Yahoo address, and I will get back to you. Lisa

WoW searching, Glad your not near me! (just teasin)
So Xerf, you have posted on both threads, just how young are you? what side of the fence are you on???
Poppy seeds? Plant those to grow a dad?
I once planted a cheerio and grew a doughnut tree!
WHO would dare say I'm a loony?
I have been given special permission to police both threads. I have an eye out for all imposters and will summarily deal with them. So caution is advised!

Hi friends,
I would post on either threads.I don't however consider over 40 to be old.In fact many of my dear friends are over 60...
Growing older can be a blessing. For one thing I don't have to worry about being up all night with a new baby!!!unless I were Sarah.....And I get by with a bad hair day now....I used to worry so much about that. Also if somehow I put on one blue knee hi and one black knee high I can blame it on being 41...hahahaha

And reckon what you'll be dressing like when you get to be 60??!!

In this dress of wrinkles lies a little girl at heart...lv sis.c
Heres a funny joke.
Two old fellers in a nursing home sat out on the patio to shot the breeze.When all of a sudden a naked woman runs by .One leans over and whispers to the other other;
Did you see that woman run by? Yes, replies the other and boy she sure did have on a wrinkled jogging suit.

I think that it's good that we are having some funny postings in light of some of the others that have been going on. It's good to laugh, it doeth good like a medicine, and boy, have I been sick lately, so this is doing me good.

Well, the Bible did say that "laughter doeth the heart good like a medicine."

I'm even closer than you...hehehe!
My you are in the "visiting way older threads' kinda mood today, its seems!
I've been wanting to do this myself, but for lack of time have not...there ARE some excellent threads from the past over two years I've been on here, that would be nice to revisit..especially those with Xerf in them! :yeah:
sure miss him! *sigh*
