Praise the Lord all, I received another picture from one of my members which said, not everything is captured in the news.
If you receive a wartime picture of a soldier doing spiritual warfare please share it.
I have a picture which I am down sizing and will upload to my web sit tomorrow.
Bro John, or would it be ok to upload an image right where we post other than where we identify ourselves?
I have received a picture of a group of marines praying in the desert. Men aught to always pray and not to faint.

Hey Guys,
I don't want to waste another thread but I've got to share this testimony.
I asked for prayer a month and a half agp for a brother in my church who was in a comma due to a motor cycle accident.
well three days ago he spoke when everyone said he would make it and if he did he would be a veg. I would go and read the word of God to him amd when I couldn't go his wife would read to him and keep Christian music or preaching going in his hospital room.
It was so awesome when we would come to read to him the nurses would come in and out just to hear the word.
Last night we were at the hospital visiting another saint until way past visiting hours, so we had to leave through emergency.
My daughter met this sister in the waiting room that was on her way up to her mothers room next door to where we were. She saw the young people and asked if we were part of a church my daughter said yes, she asked if we spoke in tongues and my daughter said yes, she said I am Apostolic UPC would you pray with me for my mother she needs the Holy Ghost and my daughter said we are apstolic too.
Abd they began to praise the Lord and speak in tongues right there in the emergency room.
Look at Jesus!!!!!!!!
We gave them some literature to come and visit because they are looking for a new church especially one with a strong youth department for her kids.
PRAY FOR US AND THEM

I don't know the young ladies name , however, we are supposed to go back to the hospital today, to see her mother and to pray for her also. At that time I will find out who she is. Our teens are going to do Praise and worship at the hospital and they are so jazzed about it.
The sister in our church, her name is Sister Charolette. Please pray for her there is a muscle disorder and she is in so much pain. We are praying everyday that God will deliver her. God has blessed me in that he hears my prayers and the testimonies of his greatness always find their way back to me to increase and strengthen my faith even more.

B]Lord How are they increased that trouble me, many are they that rise up against me. Many are they which say of my soul, there is no help for him in God, but thou oh Lord are a shield for me my glory and the lifter up of my head...[/B]

OR: Psalm 35:
"Plead my cause, O LORD...fight against them that fight against me...take hold of shield and buckler... Draw out also the spear, and stop the way against them that persecute me...",
ALRIGHT!, this psalm could apply to other than physical distress, true, but I love it just the same, and use it in prayer, when there are spirits of darkness trying to cause problems or endanger me somehow., persecuters can seek to destroy one's own LIFE even!

Pastor B,
What beautiful testimonies you have shared with us. All of them.
Especially the children who are obviously being taught and encouraged to go into all the world with the Good News, praying for all the needs of others. God Bless you and your lovely wife bro.

Brother.
I personally rejoiced when I saw the picture of the baptismal service in the desert.
We, in our Church, teach the Saints to be Conscientious Objectors and when called upon to volunter for non-combatant positions.
Due to a mixup at our local draft board I was re-classified as 1-A and elgible for immediate draft at the ripe young age of 30. I was picked up and taken to Detroit's Fort Wayne Induction center for immediate induction. I was as Ordained Minister, College graduate, and Father of 2 sons, and at the Ft. Wayne Induction Center I applied for Apostolic Chaplaincy Status {BUT they wanted a private, not a leutenant}. After 18 miserable days {Thanks to the PRAYERS of the Saints} I was released and sent back home.Fort Wayne Induction center.
I am thankful that we have One God Jesus Name HolyGhost filled people there ans seeiny the photos of the JESUS NAME BAPTISMAL SERVICE was absolutelt awesome !
The only trinity church that teaches the essentiality of water baptism is the church of Christ.
I Am Glad And Thankful To Be A Part Of The ONE GOD - JESUS NAME - CHURCH !

On our local christian radio station, they had a man on speaking of how he saw on the news his son killed in the war, before he was officially told. He was talking of how deeply hurt he was, and all the pain his family had gone through. He said his sorrow was lessened when he saw the picture of the baptism in the desert, and realized his son was also one of those that were being baptized in Jesus Name in that picture.
This station is owned by Moody Church in Chicago, and they kept making reference to the soldiers being baptized in Jesus name, and were rejoicing as much as we are here. I am going to try and get some more information by calling the station about this broadcast. If I learn more, I will share.
God bless,
Sandy

Yes Bishop, the CofC church baptizes, but for forgiveness only, not for remission as I understand it anyway.
Which I believe is the reason a sister that attended one of this type of church was baptized again after several of us shared with her the true purpose for this.

I recieved this picture from a trinitirian person I know from another board. Not a mention of how they where baptizing.
I don't think it would be hard for the UPC to know if this was a UPC chaplain doing the baptism. Might a UPC minister contact them and find out. There are not many UPC ministers in the military and they must be ordaind and licenced to be a chaplain, as I understand.
Please let me know what is found out. Hope this was not all hearsay,

In His Service, No disrespect , but I don't care if he's UPC, PAW, ABC, or whatever all I care about is that they were givrn the opportunity to repent and to be baptised in the name of Jesus.
If Chaplain Webber is Apostolic or a member of an apostolic org., then thank you Jesus.
And if he's not, then thank you Jesus because the Lord had him do it right anyway.
He that hath begun a good work in us will perform it befor the day of our Lord and savior Jesus Christ.
Amen Brother Price, as I get new pictures they will go up. I'm going to put up some pictures on Monday of our churches all night prayer last week where three teens received the infilling of the Holy Ghost. We were dancing and shouting the victory at 2 am in the morning.

Pastor B.,
Please understand that I have not seen the report that the picture of the baptising was known to be done in Jesus Name. That is what I am questioning only. Do we know without a doubt that those in the baptismal picture went down according to Acts 2:38?
I like to make sure before passing something on that is found on the net that it is true and not what someone thought. We all get so many things that are only partial facts that we must be careful.
If they where going down in Jesus name, then PTL!!!!! Let us pray that God fills them Quickly with the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in other tongue!!!!!!
Hope you understand my questioning better now,
Bro. Timothy

Amazing that tent cities have A/C, wow! Imagine all that SAND getting into everything, I know how that is, from when i used to hang out at the beach here in my younger (leaner) days! Heheh!

Praise God Pastorb:
Thanks for sharing all of this good news. I also heard of baptismal services being administered in the name of Jesus, in the sands of Iraq.
God is so awesome.
Sister Cooper:
You have a fine son. He looks so handsome. I know that you are very proud of him. I would be also.
I have four sons. Only one elected to serve in the military. He spent a tour of duty in the Naval Intelligence department as a Russian linguist. He is now almost through law school.
I will continue to pray for Derek, believing that he will be delivered savely back home. It is great that he reconsecrated before he left.
I am inclined to believe that all of those prisoners were released because there was one in the group that worshipped the same God as did Daniel and the three Hebrew Children. When only one Apostolic is in the group, the whole group is blessed.

i know THATS RIGHT! I kept telling everyone that same thing since he's been missing, Halleluyah, the LORD keeps his WORD, those others benefitted from one there being right with GOD, hopefully, they will continue in the right path, that they were inspired to seek the TRUTH, to have a relationship with our ONE GOD, I will keep praying for them all, to soon be baptized acts2:38, and pray for all the others who are either MIA or POW's.
TO GOD BE THE GLORY!
I'm still noticing that that family of Edgar has not even been interviewed for tv news, very little mention of family reactions, etc., although finally this a.m. on MSN website there was one quote from his mother, ONE line, only!
Hmm...well and there's one family, the father of another released POW, young man, said "I believe in GOD...", which was nice., but very brief!
I know that if I was in Edgars position, (or even as his MOTHER) that's the very 1st thing I'd of been saying, something to the effect of "MY GOD IS REAL!, HE saved ME! NO ONE ELSE! HE is my ROCK! Fortress, Shield, etc.etc., they'd not be able to shut me UP! As HERE in the GNC :D :D Heheh!! GOD is the only one who should receive ANY GLORY!

Man! Doesn't that make your heart rejoice! Not that the man's son was killed in battle, but to see that his son took that great, precious name on before he died...and that his dad was able to see it captured in time for his comfort.
