Please pray for someone named Robert, he is my son's father, and yesterday just found out he has cirrohsis (proper spelling?) of the liver. This was bound to happen after 30 yrs of drinking hard liquor, and beer, I have long been after him to quit, his sons as well, even his new wife., but he said he could not stop.
I have exhorted him to seek GOD NOW, HE is the same, yesterday, today, and forever, and if HE could heal and deliver me from such addictions, HE can do the same and more...he says only a liver transplant would help! and is awaiting to see some specialist..I told him the only specialist he needs is my JESUS!

Robert has always been against submitting to GOD, and thinks he's a die-hard catholic, although he hasn't graced one of their churches in years.
BUT, Halleluyah, after I went to visit him personally, myself, alone , (gosh, the LORD'S given me boldness to do that, not afraid of him as I used to be ) and spoke with him, about several things, but always throwing in "seeds" of the WORD, I left feelihg it was not a disastrous meeting, as we've always had.
So, today, he called "out of the blue" and I'm so glad I happened to be home, he asked me about the Lords Prayer, he was confusing it with Psalm 35, I recited it to him, both, and agreed to let me give him a bible! Since he couldn't find one there at home! Halleluyah, maybe this should be in the praise section, but because its still a hard road ahead...I ask all to pray fervently that he will go all the way into accepting the LORD acts2:38, so that IF his time is really short, then he can have the assurance that he is forgiven and saved, and/or as the LORD sees fit, that he may even be healed, receive another liver, something, but I know that liver transplants, from what I've heard, aren't very successful, I had a friend die from that already (during transplant).
PRAISE GOD for HE wishes that none should Perish!
Thanx any/every one who prays for this lost soul!
I thank my JESUS that this mission he sent me on, HE went with me!

The Lord can do anything.Sister tell Robert to go out and get some Alfalfa,Burdock, and milk thistle
and dandylion. If he can take steam baths or very hot as strong as he can stand it baths while drinking the herb tea it will help.
He also needs to be drinking about a gallon of distilled water a day.Only distilled water not tap.He also needs to drop the cigarettes or any toxic substances he is consuming. He needs to try and get the herbs in bulk and make tea.Steep this for 15 minutes at least then drink. He may use honey to sweeten it.The other things he needs to do are drink Noni juice which you can get for ten bucks at walmart. He needs to follow a natural diet and walk. His lymph and liver need cleansing. Also his colon needs cleansing as toxins build up everywhere when you are as great a consumer of them as a person who is addicted to a substance.
Take him to an herbalist sister.Encourage this man. This is your chance to help him come to
Jesus.Let him depend on you.God can take a bad situation and make it good. The liver regenerates itself after a few weeks.
Alcohol is a terrible toxin. It has had free reign in his body for quite a while for this to have developed.
Sister you have to also realize how alcohol affects the central nervous system. This man may well have seizures etc after so many years of consumption.God can and will heal all who ask.
Just also understand he has provided in nature many of the things we need for healing and they are right at our fingertips.
Many of the early pioneers died of dysentary and rolled right over the very herb with their wagons that was the cure.God bless you for looking past personal hurts to the soul of a man.lv sis.c

Sister Cooper:

You read my mind, I just told him yesterday about the milk thistle, since I myself tried to heal my own liver myself, after years of damage, I read a lot about it, got help from many sources, and this was AFTER I had gotten over the initial DT's symptoms.
The fact is, he says he "cant" stop, but I told him, he's right, He can't, but that JESUS can! if he'll just let him. He can also take away that urge...I am the best example of how this is possible, although, I did not get to the state he is in right now. I do feel for him, as a lost soul, and don't want him to die this horrible death, neither do his sons.
So-o I will pray that he will allow (and rather, that his wife, who does not like me, will allow) me to get him to do these things...he does need personal attention, she works during the day, thats why I went over, and don't know if he told her, but if she really loves him, she'd allow it. Several years back, say about 6, I did give her some info to give him, verses to read, etc., that helped me, I don't know if she did give them to him, that might've helped curb what is now happening.
She is a bit "simple"., [Adult ADD], they have a cute 2yr old boy..I've been urging him to live for him, at least.
Thanks so much for your help, I thought you might do as you did, since you're a nurse. Now he won't go do all this for himself, he told me he's weak, and he's got this weird rash on his chest, that the doctor he went to see offered nothing for.
He no longer drives (thank GOD)., so it will be ME that has to do something, and maybe my sons can go along this weekend when we take him the bible, although I'm feeling the sooner the better that he gets this, I'm going to highlight some particular verses that might help, anyone having any suggestions, please post.
GOD BLESS YOU!

Yes, he says he feels weak, I suggested vitamins, although I know he needs more than that., and my sons are going to go see him tomorrow with that bible, maybe he'll come to church! He had promised them in the past that he would, but can never seem to stay sober, I feel so-o bad for him, I know what he is facing., and I also know the answer.
Thanks everyone for your concern and prayers and help., I pray he will continue to be receptive. He is scared, whether he admits it or not, who would not be, satan has had such a grip on him, and I sure don't wish that on anyone...and don't wish for my sons to see their dad die, period, much less like that!
Amazing how sin can take you farther than you ever wanted to go, keep you longer than you wanted to stay, and cost you more than you can pay! A LIFE /SOUL is what the EvilOne wants, but he does not have the last word on that, GOD does, Halleluyah, for HE is willing and able to heal, those who ask, who truly repent, and want the peace of GOD, to be with HIM, forever, more than anything, thats what it takes.
I know that #1 is getting him detoxed, and IF he does have insurance, as I think he does, and I just realized this, I or my sons, will suggest that she try to get him into a rehab, and also to begin that herb regimen suggested by you, Sis Cooper.
VERY SOON!
Thank you Phyllis for your annointed prayers.
