hi. ok, here goes....
A few weeks ago my husband who is a minister/eveangelist got called in the office at work with 12 other guys (13 counting him). They were having a lay-off. 12 had to go and the remaining one had to change shifts. Well my husband was the one who didn't get laid off (Praise God), but he got moved to second shift. He was on first shift and now he was going to have to go to the 2p.m-11p.m. shift. meaning no more Wednesday night services or preaching off through the week. He was really upset about it. He was to start second the following Monday. So on the Sunday night before he was in the office before church telling the Pastor which is his grandfather. His grandpa told him that the same thing had happened to him when he was young. He said he was working first shift too and got moved to second. He said on the Sunday before the change, he went in the prayer room at church and had all the men pray for him. He went on to work on second the next day (Monday) but on Tuesday a supervisior came and found him and told him there had been a "mistake" and he was going back on first. The supervisior told him that he had meant to tell him on Monday. :) So after church started my pastor told everyone about Justin (my husband) having to go to second shift and he told them about his experience. So my husband came up and some men gathered around and annointed him and prayed. Later before service was over he announced that another Brother was preaching the coming Wednesday night. It was his first sermon since he had been attending our church. After church was dismissed and we were leaving, my husband was talking to the guy that was preaching that Wednesday and dissappointedly said "Ah, I'm not gonna get to hear you preach Wednesday night". Someone standing by said, "Hey, where's your faith?" or something of the sort, and my husband said, "Oh ya, ha-ha, I'll see you Wednesday night." The next day on Monday my husband who normally leaves at 5:00a.m for work, was still in the bed because he didn't have to go in till 2:00 p.m on second. But around 7:00a.m. the phone rang, and woke us both up. It was someone from the office calling him to say there had been a "mistake" and they needed him back on first shift immediatly. So he got up and got ready and went to work, (on first-shift):) . He didn't even have to go on second for a day. I knew God would work it out, but honestly I wasn't expecting it that quick! So before Wednesday night came, it had already been spread throughout the church. My husband called his mom to tell her and a few minutes later called his grandpa and he had already heard, and not from my husbands mom either. :)
