Converting churches over to Apostolic Doctrine

Apostolics on the move... Well, about a year ago my husband and I felt led by the Holy Ghost to go witness to a Church of Religious Science. We attended their service and after the service we asked if we could pray with the people in the church and they said yes, we took off with my kids in the congregation and began to pray in the Spirit full of the Holy Ghost for God reveal his truth to the people. About a year later......it happened to be this week I'm traveling in my car asking God to lead me to a place where we can be a help to the people. As I was weeping in prayer I stumble across a little wooden church with a sign on it reading "independent pentecostal church" (freshly painted) So, I left a track there wondering if they were Jesus name the more my mind pondered on it I talked to my husband and he said let's go see what God is up to here. We went to service and Lo and behold that pastor who was pastoring the church of Religious science is now presiding minister a new "independent pentecostal church" We recognized some of the people we had prayed with one year earlier! God wants us to teach these people the truth. This just shows the power of prayer and being bold in the spirit! This week my husband and I prepared a mailer going through the phone book and sending out tracks to all the churches in our city and the neighboring cities! We are excited and see this as part of the great commandment to be witness of the "name of Jesus" the name that is above all names. Please keep us in prayer saints as we rise to another level in Christ by the willingness of our souls to reach the lost at all capacities whatever it takes Lord use us for your Glory. By the way my children sang for the people in the church they are very talented they sang about the Holy Ghost they are very hungry! Come out and be ye seperate saith the Lord! Praise God! Glory be to God in the highest!

That is such an encouraging and exciting post!! I am praying for God to deliver a church I used to go to up until a few weeks ago. I had been there for over a span of two years or so. It is my belief that those who were hungry learned more about the Lord; some were filled with the Holy Ghost and others are still studying to see the necessity of Jesus' name baptism. I believe the only thing standing in the way of this church being converted is the leadership; they are fighting this gospel. But it is my prayer that God will prevail in the situation and save many.

I have heard a few similar tales in recent years of pastors and large numbers of their congregation being filled with the Holy Ghost and accepting Oneness.

It just thrills my soul -- because of being "churched" already, they don't usually have to be taught to pray or study, etc. and are like "instant workers"....little or no training required!

I'm so thankful to have his spirit residing in me and in my children. I'm so thankful to be a child of the most high God. I'm a fanatic for Jesus. He definitely recruits finatics!!! lol...Thank God for his precious blood that will never lose its power. No man can understand it and when they try it boggles the little human mind. The wisdom of man is foolishness to God I'm so glad we are so small and he is so big!!!!

she found what she was searching and won a whole city unto the Lord she evangelized that city so powerfully by the call of Jesus..Don't forget the pentecostal pioneer women who helped spread this Jesus name gospel and plant churches throughout the United States as well as foreign countries. Get yourselves some Jesus name tracts and go through the phone and mail those tracts to every church listed in the phone we must WIN whole church congregations over to this precious gospel that we are so blessed to have...Get yourself stamps and mail out the famous tract Why we baptize in Jesus name...My husband just preached in a trinitarian church who do you say that I AM? It was awesome we have our own home evagelism center in which we do just that and I haven't been on it for awhile but, need to get back to the mailing system if the Lord comes I want to say that I even tried to reach every neighboring church to tell him about his precious NAME...We need to not worry about the opinions of so and so and so and so it is the will of God to seek and save them which are lost and by the way it was a powerful woman of God that won me to the Lord and through me many other souls came to the Lord why the revelation is ITS THE HOLY GHOST within us YES, JESUS CHRIST within us nor male nor female.

We've got to get on the move Jesus is coming soon..

I'll never forget his beautiful prayer so, when we come in contact with those who differ on "unity" we push a button called IGNORE and a new button called PRAY and we do just that..why, cause they can't see themselves at all which is sad but, then there are going to be those that can see themselves and change or choose not to we just can't worry about their issues thats Gods problems to deal with thats whey we are not on the thrown "Jesus is" we could not handle the job...lol..lol..we are a job ourselves...just give God your very best and try not to offend anyone but, at the same time remember there are going to be those tares in the wheat as well who will claim offense when that wasn't the case then what you do is hit the pray button take it to Jesus and believe me he'll set them straight he always does...lets have revival..

So how do you go about doing this? From what I understand, you buy a bunch of "Why We Baptise in Jesus Name" tracts, and mail them to the mailing addresses of all the churches in the local phonebook...

Okay, so then what? Do you leave your phone number and address on the tract? Do people get back in touch with you wanting to know more?

I had thought about putting tracts on everybody's car at other churches. But, I don't know how that would go over, if people would resist the message just because of the method, know what I mean?

Yes, what you would do is purchase Why we baptize in Jesus name tracts and go through your local phone book under churches and mail them out to each one (it takes awhile) were still working on it. Then you follow up with a phone call. Plus, you can also place a special note to the presiding pastor stating that you thought you would send him this tract on the importance of water baptism in the name of Jesus and would like to share with him some scriptures from the word of God through this tract. Plus, you leave your name and number for future contact reference. So, you pray as you send out your tracts for God to go before you and open their eyes to the truth of his word after all its his will first. Always remember don't expect a phone call let it be the "unexpected" that excites you! Also, remember that what you are doing is spreading the word and if the Lord comes you will feel so good to tell him how you tried to reach every church in town and not hold this precious gospel to yourself! If you want to place tracts on the cars go for it! Just remember there are amazing stories behind those tracts you never know if they don't come to your local apostolic church they may one day find one when they are ready to take the time to study that tract. God knows those that are his we just got to get the message out there he gives the increase remember that! You'll feel so on fire because he will set your soul on fire. You will receive so much peace from your work in Christ you will be much rested just knowing that you are working for Jesus and he is right there behind you routing you along strengthening because we are enlisted in his army and we've got to get out there and spread this great truth that we have!

Always pray in the Holy Ghost we receive so much strength in the spirit!

tell some precious soul about him. He is so worthy to be lifted up in front of humanity. Look at Peter he preached it with power infront of thousands he had no shame but, the power of the Holy Ghost! I love to hear great preachers men/women speak as the Holy Ghost "ministers" through their willing vessels. We must never be ashamed of who we are in Christ Jesus and always remember it is the "Holy Ghost" working through us not whether male or female but, the "Holy Ghost" Jesus Christ himself is dwelling withus his spirit will definitely speak through his children!!!:laugh: Keep lifting up that name! That we are all those special people walking on earth in 2004! Those special people with the power of the name of Jesus! We are his beautiful children and he loves us so much and has given us "his" power the Holy Ghost! Never doubt the power of the blood and his spirit...Never let anyone tell you different the bible says we are a royal priesthood and we are "all" ministers of Jesus Christ! We are living in the new testament enjoy it, live it, love it and die daily to the cross! He is worthy of our tears, sweat and adoration!;)

Awesome testimony. There are a lot of churches in the general area where I live (Norfolk, Virginia)...I am praying God can use me in the same manner in witnessing to the members and even pastors of those churches. I have even invited people from those churches to our church's events...God is on the move and I will claim this by faith it will come to pass.

Yes, they need us saints so deeply their soul inside is desperate for us to help them find truth through love and prayer...a burden for their souls to be unshackled from deception. Order youselves some tracts on Why we baptize in Jesus name through PPH and get motivated buy some books of stamps and pray over your mail and send it out you may even compose a nice letter to the pastor or church secretary saying you wanted to share some scripture with him and your hoping that he would take the time to enjoy it with you...something to that effect and if he could possibly take the time out to overview your tract...

South of my hometown of Texarkana is a little Arkansas town by the name of Fouke.

Well, at Fouke First Baptist, with about 83 persons present by corroborating accounts, in a prayer meeting wherein it seems some people really got serious with God to do some praying, the Lord filled about 42 persons with the Holy Ghost, evidenced by their speaking in other tongues as the Spirit gave them utterance. This event occured some nine or ten years ago, and resulted in Fouke First Baptist splitting right down the middle, with the tongue-talkers going one way and the others staying put.

Fouke First Baptist is still there, and the others are still at their Church that came out from among them: River of Life Fellowship. The Lord is working on their hearts and teaching them.
