A couple of months ago, the W.O.W. had fasting and prayer, and included in the prayer list, I had listed "Mike Harger", a young man (in his 40's) diagnosed with cancer, and a large tumor in his lung. The doctor gave him only a couple of months to live.
About a week later, his doc told him that they would go ahead and give him some chemo, but that it was only to extend his life a little bit so he would have more time to prepare for his death and spend with his family.
This has been a very sad time for this family, because they already lost one son in an accident about 5 years ago, and now they were facing the prospect of losing their second son as well.
Last night, at our monthly ladies' meeting, our pastor's wife said that Sis. Harger (Mike's mother) had called her, and given her an update on Mike's condition. He went to the doctor yesterday for his regular tests, and here's what they found:
The tumor in his lung has shrunken to a much smaller size than it originally was, and the cancer in the rest of his body is almost completely gone!
God is a good God!
