I was thinking that with all the things going on in this country, abortions, same sex marriges, filth in the media, that it is time for us christians to put our foot down. There is an election coming and we need to unite, vote, and give this county back to the people.

I believe that if all the Christian people would come together that we could make a difference. There is power in numbers. I mean all the different sects of Christianity comprimising on some common goals and voicing our opinion. I'm not talking about a radical Christian revoltlution just an attempt to bring this country back to the Christian roots it was founded on. I wouldn't want to exclude anyone so it would have to be a very general movement.

If all Christians came together the world would still be in bad shape. The Bible says "men shall wax worse" and "because sin shall abound, the love of many shall grow cold". This world is getting worse according to the Bible. We can pray that Jesus have mercy, but, certain thing are prophesied.

Ben I disagree with that quote it says:
2 Tim 3:12-13
12 Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.
13 But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.
(KJV)
That does not mean that we should roll back and let them have America.
If you have ever lived in or visited any other foreign countries you would be glad to live here.We have more money than many of them thus more luxeries.
Also the government could be worse. But we don't have to lie home and wait until the end comes...and say.....oh yeah that is just the bible being fullfilled.
Nonsense. We can pray.Prayer is powerful and especially those who know the Name of Jesus.lv sis.c

As for all christians banning together, never. How can two walk together except they agree. Besides, we as apostolics are made new creatures, shall we attach ourselves to old garments, or be equally yoked with unbelievers.
For one, we must decide who are the real christians. You will find that the number is very few, when you start giving description of what makes a christian a christian. I will tell you now, that America as a whole does not want "True Christian values." That is how we ended up where we are now. In America, the majority rules. We know that Hollywood is dispersing the vilest of filth across our nation every weekend. We yell, and holler at the networks for the nastiness of shows it publishes night after night. Yea, they here our faint cry. But there is a roaring public that wants it, and they are getting it. Think of the BET network, MTV, and others. They are sick, but no matter how much we Christians holler, there are too many SO_CALLED christians that are to often tuned in too that stuff, therefore making null the christian efforts of gedtting rid of the stuff.
As Apostolics, joining hands with the other denominations and so forth will only work for a while. But deep down inside their hearts they don't trust us or want us, If so, the would get the HG and join us. The best example is when David took refuge with the Philistines while Saul was chasing him. The philistines ended up fighting Saul, and David wanted to help the Philistines fight the Israelites, but they refused to let him go out of fear. Same with us. They don't really want to fight beside us, out of fear that somewhere down the road, real conviction to become like us will set in, because the Holy Ghost is powerful.
Yea they will smile at us, and talk a talk of brotherhood, and community, but down in the heart is where suspicion will arise, and we will end up warring each other, as sin grows more rampant, which is what is happening now.

Okay we ban togehter, who are we gonna vote for.
Cheney is for the gays after all. George Bush hasn't too long gotten away from his crack addiction, his daughters need deliverance from alcoholism. He lied and lied and lied in order to take out a personal vendetta against Saddam H. getting thousands of innocents killed for no reason, when God actually told us in our day not to fight for VENGENCE is HIS saith the Lord.
He has stripped the government coffers and spreaded the wealth amongst all of His big business buddies, forsaking the poor and needy of his own country. He has turned back so many good laws, reputed so many good treaties, is ready to destroy the environment, every now and then envokes a scripture or two, and is no real christian at all.
As for Kerry, we only for now know what he says, since he hasn't been in the big seat yet, to produce any action. But we know the Dems are very weak in nature giving in to too many filthy minded socialites, such as the gays, unwed fornicating mothers wanting to live forever on welfare, and such likes.
So we don't have much to pick from when it comes to restoring Christian Values.
But what most Christians have failed to realize, is that MORALITY is never to come from the Feds, but from the church. The government has not let us down, like the churches have. The church should be so strong that it have an overwhelming sway on the decision making going on in D.C. That is how it was in the old days. But as the church got weaker, so did the government. Always has been. Since the days of the Judges of Israel. We cannot ever expect our government leaders to be more righteous than the administrators of the Gospel. Yet, we have some many fakes claiming christianity now, that have watered down truth, the conviction, and condemnation of sin in a way that the fear of God has fled this country, and sin is running rampant from coast to coast. But realize, it's not the governments fault.
This government in America is by the people and for the people. We get what we want, and know this, America wants most of what it has. The majority rules. If we didn't want it, we as a people could get rid of it. How did the gays get rights up north, they wanted it bad enough and got it. How did blacks get the right to vote, they wanted it bad enough, and they got it. Ii America as a whole really wants Morality, they could break every entity that proliferates evil, by not spending their money there. Refuse to use their services, watch their channels, listen to their stations, buy their products. Money is one of the greatest weapons. In many cases more powerful than the vote itself.
Yet, we as Apostolics are just going to have to stand for what we believe in and not be swayed. That's what witnesses are for. So that someday the world may see the error of its way and turn, but all that has got to start in the local church. Churches are allowing to many to profess christianity and not change or repenet. Therefore you have sinners, in christian coats, being put up as christian models and representatives, even in elected positions, doing this country no christian good.
By the way, i must add Bush and the crew are theives too, as they stole an election. Not opinion but known facts.
There's my piece.

........
If I wait to agree with a person untill we are in total, 100% agreement on all issues. I will never find a single person. For that matter there are things I don't even have fingured out in my own mind, So therefore I disagree with myself!
If we can agree with the AOG's and Catholics on Abortion issues. I think we need to agree with them. At least on the common ground.
We need to be careful where we pick out fights. We have a very bad track record on that.
Case in point.
At a recent gathering of UPC Ministers, there was a 6 to 4 split on a major issue. Does that mean they can't agree on Acts 2:38? Of course not!
Of the 60%, roughly 30% drive Chevy's. Does that mean they don't or can't united on the issue of Television?
We as Americans need to unite when and where we can.
"We must all hang together or most assuradly we will all hang seperately!"

A Christian is one who has repented, been baptized in Jesus name, and filled with the Holy Ghost. Anything outside of this is false. One isn't a Christian by belief alone. Sorry to inform you, but George Bush is not a Christian.
