I am sorry. I was part of that for a while about 3 years ago or so. It was ok for a little while, but it soon became impractical for our family. Good ideas, but she works you like a slave!

Ha! Ever rebellious in nature, I never submitted to wearing shoes all day every day per FLYlady's "orders".

Barring that -- I think she is VERY helpful .... like a good diet with a personal trainer. She can get you whipped into shape, but if you're by nature a "messy", you'll "fall off the wagon" soon enough.

Good thing is...you can always hop back on for a spell, before things go too far awry....like "maintenance" for a diet.

Those SHINING SINKS really do work wonders!! Good for you, Sister C!!!

I'm especially determined -- in my new home, in a new city -- to concern that "demon".......I beleive the Lord has a work for me, and how can I concentrate on being a witness, if my house is such an embarrassment I'm afraid to fellowship in my home!

I like that FLYlady encourages us to "bless our houses" with a healthy going over once a week!

AND -- set to some good Apostolic worship music -- those 27 Fling Boogies can be considered praising the Lord!!! I like to show my gratitude for all He has given me by keeping it in the best possible order!

Ha!! They ARE funny!

You grab a garbage bag or a "Goodwill Box" and go thru your house finding 27 things to throw away or donate to charity.

I forget the significance of the number 27....but I like the principle of "purging" in this manner. It's more fun and less stressful than ripping the stuffings out of a closet and having to put it all back together!!

My my my my... I can't believe I am even curious about what it is that your all talking about, however now I have almost got my house and surrounding areas presentable, sheesh, with much work from my dad and I, and much groaning and moaning from the kidlings... I read this...


AND curious I am... hahaha... maybe I will tell you my thoughts... rofl...

Boy thats the truth.I need to fling more than 27 things in the trash.Gone are the days when I used to wipe the walls down and have nothing better to do than remop the floor.That was children ago....haha....lv sis.c
