Hi I wanted to share this since I am currently involved in doing
some more college credit work. There are several online colleges where you can take credited courses. For those who want to move up in the work force but cannot stop work to do so or even those who have been interested in studying for the future when you will be able to do something else than you are doing currently.Whats one course at a time? Its only going to bless you in the long run.
heres one school that is accredited:
www.excelsior.edu
But there are many others such as University of Phoenix online etc. that are just as good.Anyone doing courses now? lv sis.c

Masters? I wish.... I don't even have a BSN... I only have 28-month diploma.... but I'm thankful for it... God blessed me with it... Now, I'm looking to do more.... Was thinking more along qualifications for LTC Admin or the like....

Well Sister the AS to Bsn is offered. Also I saw that University of Phoenix had it as well. That means more bucks sis.
Also I thought I would share that American Heart offers a renewal now for your CPR card half on line and the other half in house. You cut out taking the whole day for education.Which to some its profitable but for me it means a days wage or a PDO.I am trying to save mine for vacations etc.
Also they had a home study cd/module for ACLS or PALS certification. It was only $99 which if you know what you get charged is really a good deal.Plus you get to put in the extra study time.I am about to embark on that.lv sis.c

Thanks for sharing.... I'll have to check into that AS to BSN.... I could use more bucks....
I really like the home study / module for ACLS and $99 is a super good deal.... I paid $250 the last time I certified which has now expired... I'll check out the American Heart CPR renewal too....
Thanks again for sharing... the more I can do online, the better....

Sis Cooper:
That is funny you mentioned that b/c one of the reasons I decided to invest in a computer is to take some online courses at some point in the future. I checked out a local college that exclusively does it's work online, and they were way out there tuition wise. So that was put on the back burner...
Checked out the website..that is a good deal, compared to what Charter Oak was trying to charge me.
Definitely something to think about...
Love, Sis. Wenona

Woo Hoo it is... Love those CE's, especially now that Arkansas requires us to have 15 of them in order to renew our license....

I am praying about going again as I need my BSN then Nurse Practitioner along with my masters.
I figure I can do it in less than 4 years and it will be for my benefit.
Also for anyone interested in going to college...
there are programs that will help pay for your schooling such as pell grants..and council of governments...ask around and you can be started before the fall semester.
God is interested in your future so ask and it shall be given!
Love you in Jesus!!!...Cherokee
