We all know that Noahs ark had many animals. We probaly all agree that those animals didn't stop pupin and peeing. :p They might have even had to get rid of the waste or sat in the wrong spot. :)

So the stench must have been unbearable, but none of those in the ark in their right mind would jump off the ark.

NO MATTER HOW MESSY IT GOT OR STINKY, THEY STAYED IN THE ARK!!!

What's my point???

No matter how messy the church appears only a fool would jump off!!!

Yes, we will be frustrated.

Better frustrated in the ark then content outside.

Yes, we will have to do things we don't understand.

Better in the ark without understanding then outside with understanding.

The list could go on and on!!

There are things I don't agree with , but this boy ain't jumping off this here ark!!!

Change Arks? As you said bro. Rob, there is only one Ark. One either gets in and stays or one is on the outside wanting in some day soon.

Great post Brother. Our service tonight was on a similiar vein of thought. We start at 5:30pm and we just got home a short while ago, PTL!!!! God is still alive and well in Oklahoma!!!

That is along the lines of what the Lord spoke to me just before I was baptized in His name.

He said very plainly to me just before the preacher baptized both my husband and I in these exact words, of which I will never forget. "It is time, time to get into the Ark, the Ark of the Covenant."

So you are right, there is only one Ark. And there is always room for more and more, because this one isn't made by human hands.

I heard a message preached along the same lines, only it was "stay in the boat". If you want to travel into deep, dangerous waters in a personal watercraft, it won't be long until you capsize under the slightest wave. Simply, personal watercraft (your personal desires) will get you in trouble when you stray away from the boat that's built for the long run, that good ol' gospel ship.

Soon after that message, a big family in our church bailed out into their own personal watercraft, because their attempts to liberalize, or charismaticize our church failed. Too many other families stood up for Holiness, while they wanted to turn sunday evening into the "American Idol" show. It was sad, young ladies singing to their own glory on the platform, showing cleavage, thigh, chewing bubblegum..etc...the parents, & grandparents, when questioned, defended it as "ok" It was all about "look at what my daughter/granddaughter can do"

Rebellion set in....I for one, am with you, I will not get out of this boat.

According to Naval tradition, a Captain always goes down with his ship, however Our captain commands the waters!!!! :D

Mar 4:39 And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.

So I ain't never leaving my Captain's side! and He'll never go down with this ship.

Thank You Jesus!!

The boat I got into has nothing to do with the earthly one that consists of organizations we often see as the Church, but rather the heavenly one in Christ. And that is the one we need to stay within at all times. Because even if you get out of a boat that is earthly, such as Peter did, you will not sink as long as you keep your eyes on the Lord. Peter sank when he looked away seeing the circumstances surrounding him. But before that He walked on top of the water even though He was out of that physical earthly boat.

Paul walked on top of the water even though he traveled afar preaching the gospel, because that is what the Lord had called him to do obviously.

Those people you are referring to Bro. Steingass need prayer. As they did not fall because they left your fellowhip, but because they either were not in the Ark with christ to begin with, being none of His yet, or else they got their eyes off of the Lord and began to follow fleshly things instead. At least according to what my Bible seems to indicate by what is written in John chapter 6 regarding those people that stopped following Jesus as well as what is written in Rm. chapter 8.

Notice the family of Noah must have entered the ark by faith. Faith alone didn't put them on the ark, unless they acted on faith. Likewise, we must believe and be baptized. We are not born into the body of Christ(the ark) by faith alone, except we are baptized(entering the ark). ;)

Y'all done gave me inspiration for a good message! Based some on this and Peter walking on the water.
Don't get out of the boat until God says so!

Another note. Look up the meaning of the names of those that were in the ark. Find out what it takes to be in the ark and what being in will do to us.

Actually Bro. Price, I don't believe you should ever get out of the Ark at all. But you can get out of the earthly boat though and walk on water. But of course not until Jesus tells you to, naturally, else you put yourself in danger of also getting out of the Ark too. And that you do not want to ever do.

But I perceive the Ark to represent the one that abides in Christ. Whereas some seem to perceive it as representing the Church on earth you are attending. On that I disagree. Paul never got out of the Ark IMO. Judas did.
