I made these formatting codes today, as I always enter formatting codes manually on the fly and I wanted some easy ones.: I used Parenthesis to illustrate the code, use brackets to make it work.
(sup)Some Text Here(/sup) will super script the text:
Some Text Here Example: Several members of the GNC believe the P2 doctrine.
(bi)Some Text Here(/bi) will make the text Bold-Italic with one code rather than using 2 seperate codes:
This Text Is Bold Italic, This Text is Not!
(wj)Words of Jesus(/wj). An easy code for redletter text. instead of all that (color=red) yadda yadda
And it came to pass, as he sowed, some fell by the way side, and the fowls of the air came and devoured it up
(sub)Subscript Text(/sub) - Example
ScriptSubscript
Use them if you want!

Hey bro, I made you your own code (jb)BlueText(/jb)
Bro Jbenjesus Personal Color Code!
is there an easy way to do ascii fixed-letter font, or must we use repetitive string of char's like in my signature?

nope, you gotta do the string.
This is what you get for not using a normal sig like everyone else :D

Thanks, Bro. John:
Question....
I know this is gonna sound duh-like ,
I have been trying to figure out how to italicize and underline text to no avail.
Also, do I still have access to the old GNC's clip art?

Replace the parenthesis with brackets (i)(u)Text(/i)(/u) will end up as Underlined Italic Text
No, the old GNC clip art is not available. Sorry!

I am able to set images in posts, but that is just an admin privaledge. I don't have the board configured to allow everyone.
I am doing resource monitoring. If the GNC uses too much resources, I will even scale back the photos under the user name to 50x50 pixels.
We operate as best we can with limited resources. I keep the hosting business and ministry web sites seperate. The hosting servers are bigger, faster, more powerful, and more expensive. I reserve that bandwidth and prcessing power for paying clients.
This ministry server is smaller, slower and has less available bandwidth. It is running every ministry web site we run with the exception of Apostolic.Net. So, with all the preaching everyone gets to listen to from word of life coming off of this server, the GNC, the free sites at apostolicnetwork.com and more besides, I have to watch resource usage closely.
The good news is that I will be moving all of the ministry sites Apostolic.Net and GNC included to a much more powerful box when returning from the AWCF conference. The new server will have 3 times the processing power, 4 times the memory, and 8 times the bandwidth allocation than the current server.
For techies it will be:
2.4 Ghz P4
1 GB DDR Ram
2X 60 GB HDD
100 MBit Switch Port
400 GB monthly bandwidth (burstable)
Either Redhat 8.0 or FreeBSD 4.7 (undecided as yet)
I may then open image posting up here then. But likely I will use those resources for a more practical ministry application....w'eel see.

Bro. John,
bi I still have not figure out how to format my signature to the way it use to be at the old cafe./bi I don't know what I am doing wrong. I miss my red italized letters, and my red butterfly. I think I am so illiterate to all the formatting techniques. There was one time I did a quote correctly, after that, it just did not workfor me.
Thanks for the few tips that is given, maybe something will work for me this time.
