Hi friends I have a meeting at 11:30 with a group
of ministers in the city.It will be the first meeting
of the Kaplan Ministerial Alliance.
Some really good fruit has already come of this
even from my calling them on the phone.
The methodist ministers are originally from North Louisiana
and pastor two churches one here and one in a community
called Gueydan.Well the pastor and assistant in Gueydan
are good friends with us.It is not a coincidence that the
methodist pastors and the Gueydan pastors are old family
friends. The apostolic pastors dad worked with the methodist
minister up north.Pray for this meeting that truth will prevail
they have already shown interest in truth. The baptist pastor
even had offered his sanctuary and baptistry before we
purchased ours or even got the larger building. Also the
AOG pastor invites us to everything and calls us Bro.And Sis.
This am I spent about 45 minutes talking spiritual warfare and
about the prince over the city with the methodist pastor.
Hey God wants to save all of them and He has given Pastor
Cooper and I favor here.Pray for us it has already been prophesied that there were going to be alot of tongue talkers in Kaplan.lv sis.c

I was a little disapointed that no one saw this. What happened
is that God gave us favor and these fellow ministers have decided
to go to each others functions.Bro.Cooper and I have been invited
to attend singings etc this next month and each one of these pastors were writing out and asking specific things about our
ladies conference.God is good.We want to win them to truth.lv sis.c

I myself just NOW saw this!
Well, its definitely a start!! And I sure would love to attend that ladies conference...GOD will have the last word on that!
I have often wondered what other ministers honestly think about Apostolics and the emphasis on the name of JESUS..you'd think that would be a 'given'...the girl I've mentioned, Pam, well just today I met her mom, and she said her husband is a preacher, but I did not ask what denomination! Thats kinda rude is it not?
So I withheld that, making conversation about the goodness and faithfulness of our LORD, and how HIS power alone, can transform any situation, (her mom is ill in the hospital, 89 yr old had cardiac arrest 2 nights ago, and now has pneumonia)..so-o, I also left a flyer announcing our revival services tomorrow night & Sat. eve, wouldn't that be awesome if they would come?
BUT, with her mom critically ill in the hospital, it does not seem likely., but I at least wanted to somehow let her know I am of an Apostolic church! Pam has said she'll visit soon. Hopefully her mom will not try to talk her out of it...you know how some 'christians' think we're "over the top" or something...maybe 'fanantical' (if she IS a trinitarian which I think she is) in the small country town she is from, ('bout 30 min. from here) there ARE no Apostolic churches there. Its unlikely they are Apostolic., FOR NOW!! ;)

Amen He sure is.Thank you both for the kind words.I look at
it like this.God does not see denominal boundries and neither
do I.I want to share this Jesus Name One God Revelation with
whomsoever will.I want to forget my personal opinion and let
God do the talking and welcoming and forget preconceived notions. Not everyone is closed to truth and not everyone who
is closed minded right now will always be close minded. There
may be a point ahead that we can reach some for Jesus.Fishing
for souls takes patience and key souls take lots of longsuffering
and lip zipping to win.But when the time is right you can reel in
a big catch.lv sis.c

Sometimes you have to experiment with differing types of lures and bait, for differing types of FISH! :D
WITH the punch line being the same always, ACTSs2:38, NOTHING LESS! and even more beyond that.

You have permission to spank me thoroughly Sister Cooper. I try to watch here when I come to the forum to see if there are any new prayer requests, but admittedly have not done so for the past couple of days.
Praise the Lord that God is giving you favor over these people. Will be praying for you all to bear much fruit amongst these ministers, their receiving the truth as you speak it to them.

The really neat thing is people are inviting Bro.Cooper and
I to their functions. Before when the word pentecostal was
mentioned in our community people ran away from you.God
is opening up doors.lv sis.c

:o I don't know how I didn't see this "prayer room" before! There is so much to explore at the Cafe. But that is a pretty lame excuse! Forgive me. I am also praying for God's favor for you and hearts open to the truth.
