Praise the Lord and Hello!
I am Pastor Reginald Davis of the Refuge Temple Church of Burlington, NC. We are affiliated with the Church of our Lord Jesus Christ. Pastor William L. Bonner is our chief apostle. We are blessed with a young church (less than 8 years) that has grown tremendously. I am glad to have the opportunity to confer with other pastors about the challenges and success of pastoring the most wonderful people in the world--God's people. I love forward to sharing.

Hi PastorD,
I have been to the COOLJC website a few times.I want to ask something that may sound stupid but I noticed that the ladies on the site wore white clothing. Why? Is it just tradition.I have seen women wear all white on communion service day.lv sis.c

Praise the Lord! That is not a stupid question. COOLJC has three women's auxiliaries that function on the local. diocesan and international levels. They are the Missionary Department, the Women's Council and Ministers and Deacons' Wives' Guild. The Missionary Department are women who feel called to serve as specifics helpers for the local church and foreign field. They are charged to teach the women, care for the sick, and support the work of the ministry. Their uniform when they gather is white in the spring and summer and black with white accesories in the winter and fall. The Women's Council includes all of the women in COOLJC and they provide more wholistic activities for the women. They also work to provide financial support to foreign mission. Their uniform is white and purple. The Ministers and Deacons Wives Guild is an auxiliary that includes the wives and widows of ministers and deacons. They provide support for theses women whose husbands have been called to church leadership, as well as their families. Locally, I maintain one sisterhood that address the responsibilities of their three auxiliaries as sub-groups.
