GREAT NEWS!! PRAISE GOD!!

From the http://www.paltalk.com chatroom we have a report that our teenage sister; 15 year old CW_jc is safe. Sis Jemima is her real name, and she is Pentecostal. She is on the look-out for Apostolic Churches.

She first came into our Outreach chat program, from Norwich, Ct. the Arms Around the World outreach

She left the country of Brunei, where she lives. She and her Mom, Sis. & Bro. flew to Singapore, then to Malaysia on a holiday. She faithfully emailed me to tell me of their excursions, tours, church attendance.

The last report i got was on Dec. 20, 2004 when she was telling me they were going to her Mom's hometown, about 4 hours away. I asked how she was going to be traveling. She said by bus, since her uncle was a businessman, and he could not take off work to drive them.

I stayed up all night last night praying and printing out 2 pictures of sis Jemima, 1 of her at Church Camp and 1 of her baptism that she sent me 12/06/04. I put her on a prayer list for service tonight. Staying up and praying and asking God to let her be ok.

I awoke to a message on MSN messenger......it was from CW JEMIMA.

CW_jc says: I AM FINE, THANKS. I ONLY FELT MYSLEF SWAYING AS I WAS HALF AWAKE TRYING TO GET UP FOR CHURCH. IT WAS 0905 HRS. TELL YOU MORE WHEN I GET BACK. BOARDING PLANE ON THURSDAY.
GOD BLESS YOU, I MISS YOU AND LOVE YOU,
JEMIMA

I could have shouted for JOY! woooooo God is good! yes, GOOD IS GOD! He answered my prayer.

Thank you Jesus.

I'LL include the 2 photo's that i put on the board for our service tonight.

This is another Report from Sis CW_JC our 15 yr old Sister Jemima Chen writing after she arrived home in Brunei. What a great report from her.
Thank you,
Sis. Kat

Praise the Lord.

Actually I wasn't going to check my mails on that day that I did, because I was really busy. But finally when I saw my mother using the internet, I decided to check my mails then.

The first mail that I read was your's and I was so touched because even my father didn't send any e-mail or when we tried to talk to him on MSN he pretends not to be there or says he's going to sleep. But I'm not here to complain. I'm here for a 'Praise Report From Asia'!

As I read your concerned e-mail, I thought, I think I'll reply you later because I lacked time. But then again the Holy Spirit said that I shouldn't, as I'd make you worry and so I have to tell yoiu as soon as possible. So what I did was I signed into my MSN Messenger and sent you the message (CW_jc says: I AM FINE, THANKS. I ONLY FELT MYSLEF SWAYING AS I WAS HALF AWAKE TRYING TO GET UP FOR CHURCH. IT WAS 0905 HRS. TELL YOU MORE WHEN I GET BACK. BOARDING PLANE ON THURSDAY. )

Here's more:
... My mother was singing praises to Jesus at that time and I was half awake trying to get up for church. I looked at her and she smiled and I did likewise. Then I turned to another side to get some more sleep.

It was then that I felt the tremour. I was swaying from side to side; and I thought, "Am I sick? Is anything wrong with me?" That was about 9.05 in the morning. In the end I had to get up for it was nearly time to go to church already.

As I got up I felt dizzy. Before I got up the telephone rang and my mum 'rushed' to answer it and felt dizzy however, she thought it was because she stood up too quickly (but it was the quake).

Someone downstairs picked it up before she did and then quickly passed the message around: There's an earthquake!

That call was from one of our friends who lived on the 18th floor and felt it really badly. My mother then queried me about it and I told her that I did feel the shake.

After church, my mother, sister, brother and me went back home to lend a helping hand in that busy house. Then my older aunt came by (we have 4 houses in a row and 3 belong to us. She was in the 3rd and we were int he 1st) and reported 6 deaths caused by the tsumanis. Later my other aunt came by and said that it was a national disaster as not only the state of Penang of Malaysia was hit but several other Malaysian states on the mainland were hit too.

She continued to report that India, Sri Lanka, the Maldives, Thailand, East Africa and Indonesia were hit too. We got a shock. The number of deaths kept on rising at a fast speed.

We were in Penang when it all happened and that state has the highest death toll overall Malaysia of about 80%. The tremour didn't warn people of the possibility of the horrendous tsunamis coming. And the Penang Island is a place where tourists go because of the beach. People were enjoying the sun and pinicking when it all happened.

At about 1-2pm the tsumanis attacked. The first was watched, captured, filmed and admired by the onlookers. But when it snatched those not capable to run away the others ran for their lives. But it was obviously not that easy as the 2nd was approaching already. However at hotels where they had set baywatchers the people were saved by the warning the life guards gave as they say a white foam approaching shore. But that's just in one area of the island.

My mother planned actually to take us round Penang Island by car. But Jesus didn't allow by giving us a lot of work to do with a very close deadline for my uncle, a businessman. There was a super great possibility for us to be around the coastal area ... I mean we would be at the coastal area when the waves hit. (There's a beach called Miami in there, Penang). And the coastal areas were littered with debris, mud, broken boats, boats, muddy cars and motorcylcles and dead fish.

And also earlier my mother planned that we go to Langkawi, a resort island not far off Penang island. It was hit too and if we were there, we'd have 85% chance to be by the beach. But God halted that plan by making all the hotels fully booked. We serve a living God who saves and heals and preserves us from all evil, harm and danger. Amen.
Well, this is my opinion I want to share about the earthquake measuring 9.0 magnitude with aftershocks of approx. 7 also.

... You know sometimes people, or even we ourselves say that God sent this or that to bring us closer to Him again? Well, this isn't from Him althought yes it does make us grow closer to Him in prayer and all. And yes, the Bible did say that during the end times, earthquakes and etc will happen. But it doesn't have to be stirred up by God. I mean you don't see God doing those things in the New Testament but the Old Testament.

You see, Satan knows that his time is short too and that's why he does these things. Look, how many thousands are dead now and missing? And which countries did it affect? Surely God won't kill those who knoweth Him not yet! In Malaysia the majority of the deaths were Muslims.

And Thailand, India, Sri Lanka are basically Buddhist/Hinddu countries and not to forget Indonesia the worst hit, Muslim and the mentioned.

We know that when Jesus comes again, no one will be able to say, 'I didn't know the Good News.' Everyone gets a chance to accept Him. Satan snatches them down NOW before it happens, which is going to be SOON that's why. He doesn't want them to be saved, and we very well know that.

If you want a first hand report from someone who saw the tsunamis: It was just like the devil, snatching people in like that (showing acting with hands) and not letting have a chance.
(Micheal; Christian). He was at sea when it happened. No, he isn't hurt by God's grace. He even barbequed out there!

In Christ,
Jemima

A Better way to view Sis Jemima's Baptism and Revival Pictures.

Dear Sis K-Cat,
I'm sorry for not thinking of this earlier ..
But I have now put the pictures but one ... because it's too large.

I never thought of telling Bro R. because I never know when he's taking a glance at the screen.
Anways, I'm in the family already! It felt good. Could you help show Sis Vickie for me? I can't send another e-mail I've got some work to do now.

In Christ,
Jemima

I am very glad to see that an Apostolic will be able to have the testimony of the hand and protection of God. I pray she is able to minister to those around her while she is in that area.
Shalom, and God Bless,
Brandon
