while driving to work...

A few days ago (1/20) while i was driving to work i was in the far left lane and i had seen a car coming up behind me faster than me. Then, right when it had passed me, it slowed down a whole lot. i though that was pretty weird, so i glanced over to my right and there was a red SUV goin' sideways towards me!
It was snowing for the past few days, and while it looked like the roads were pretty good, this SUV musta hit a slick spot and lost control. It started in the far right lane, and was heading right into my path.

It was about at this time i started calling on (maybe screaming) the name of Jesus.

I managed to slow down with out slammin' on the breaks (which would have probably cause me to lose control) and the SUV slid through my lane about 15 feet right in front of me. The car managed to completely clear my lane and was facing the complete wrong direction on the shoulder, but it still managed to stop before it even hit the wall. When i drove past it i looked at my speedometer before i started speeding up again, and i was only down to 45mph, so i was still going plenty fast to get killed. And this wan't thin traffic either. It was thick enough that i would have had to work to change lanes.
The SUV went through 4 lanes of mid-day traffic, while rotating with out a scratch. That had to be the hand of God!

I thank God that his angels have charge to watch over me in ALL my ways, and were able to keep me, and everyone else on the road then, safe.

Praise the Lord!!

I know exactly how you feel! Years ago I went to pick up a friend and her children for Sunday School. This was before seat belt laws and I remember that she was combing out her toddler's curl as he sat on her lap in my front seat.

We had a green light and just as I approached the intersection I realized there was a car moving too fast to stop about to enter my path. I remember stomping the brake with BOTH feet as I screamed JESUS!!!

As if he heard me the driver jerked his head up and looked me right in the eyes, also slamming on his brakes. I knew it was too late and impact was inevitable.

Miraculously, instead of the momentum of the cars causing them to skid somewhat in the direction they were going -- or at least slightly to the side of that...they both skidded BACKWARDS the same way they had just come.

It was like reversing magnets and watching them jump AWAY from each other when they should connect.

My friend's older child sat up and said, "Mama, it was like God just put His hand down between the cars to keep them from hitting each other."

Evidently we weren't the only one's awed....we must've sat there nearly a full minute, regathering our composure and no one ever honked or tried to move past us.....everyone there saw a miracle and knew it.

Amen.I can testify to that.One day we were traveling down a four lane and
a van from the inside oncoming lane crossed over to our side.It was coming fast.Its instinct for the Child of God to yell.....JESUS! That van moved back over to the other side of the road.We were so grateful.We know that our redeemer liveth and Jesus is his name.lv sis.c

That's happened to me before several times, but when you call on the Name of Jesus, everything calms. My pastor said that him and his wife were driving on the road one day, and this army truck in front of them started fishtailing all over the place, and than all of a sudden it started riding on one wheel, [in other words, the whole army truck was up on one side and it was riding like that the whole way down the highway on one side and on one wheel.] well, my pastor's wife @ that very moment screamed out, "JESUS!" and that army truck that was in front of them straightened back up and drove straight the whole rest of the way. THAT was GOD!!!
