I listened for a while last night to your on line church. We have prayer meeting at 7:30 central so wasn't able to listen to everything.

Brother Rutledge, I really like the song I found on your site not long ago, "Teach Me Lord to Wait". That is such a precious song. Isaiah 40:31 is a verse that is close to my heart.

I see what you mean about a lot of what many in Christendom sport as the anointing actually being hype and emotion. And while the anointing will make us emotional, it destroys the yoke and makes the enemy crazy!!!:realmad:

Being an avid lover of Christian music of all kinds, I have asked God to continue to show me how to discern between the righteous and the wicked as far as gospel music is concerned. And a lot of what I hear kinds of sadden me in the sense that it does not even scratch the surface of what God wishes to do with the music that is supposed to give Him glory. To usher us into His Presence. To break us forth into the anointing....

Thank you, Bro. Rutledge, for providing the 'standard' (sorry, couldn't think of any other word:)) when it comes to Christian music!

He is a master of all that I've heard him play. You should really hear him play that trumpet!

IMO, He is a master vocalist and musician. He comes from a family of musicians -- all wonderful!
