Well, I'm pleased to announce that today (Friday, March *14th* -edited -, 2003) is my last day as a single man. Tomorrow afternoon at 2pm Central time at Christian Life Church in Austin, TX, I will be getting married to the most beautiful woman on the planet. My Pastor, Rex Johnson, will be performing the ceremony.

 :) :) :) :) :)

Her name is DeAuna, and she is truly a blessing from God.
I'm so thankful that he's placed her in my life, because not only has she become my best friend, she's been a source of healing to me for past relationships (both male/female, as well as family relationships).

God's truly performed a work in our relationship and it's amazing how he's brought us together. It would take too long to share, but trust me, God is all over this marraige(-to-be).

Please keep us in your prayers.

Congratulations and many blessings to you and Dejauna (sp).

Lord, Bless this marriage and sanctify it. Bind them together with your love and let their wedding day be a joyous, memorable one.

Be that third cord that keeps them together, what man has joined together, truly no man can put asunder. Provide every need they have.

In the name of Jesus, Amen!

Love, Sis. Wenona

The old saying is true. "You can live with a lot of people but you marry the one you can't live without!" Be aware that it's a package deal. She comes with a father, mother, and family.

A quick word of advice before you are commited/ I mean married.

OH - NO - I just looked at the date and see that I'm too late for my priceless words of wisdom.

Let me relate a story that was told to me by my Dad who was told by his Dad that was told by his Dad so here goes:

It seems that my Great- Grand- Father {'William Holland'} Got married By a Circuit Preacher. He placed his brand new bride {my Great-grand-mother} in the buggy and started home.

About 1 mile down the road the ole horse balked and wouldn't move in any direction. My Great- Grand- Father yelled at the horse, popped him on the rear with the buggy whip, and suddenly the horse started moving again.

All went well for about 2 miles and then the ole horse balked and stopped again. Great- Grand- Pa yelled "Horse, now that's the
second time that You've done that"., he proceded to get out of the buggy, wrapped the buggy whip tightly around his right hand, walked to the front of the buggy and solidly hit that horse right between the eyes as hard as he could. The ole horse staggered and started moving again.

All went well for about 3 miles But Then The Ole Horse Balked and Stopped Again. Great- Grand- Pa loudly yelled "Horse, Now That's The Third Time You've Done That". He proceded to walk around to the front of the horse, He took a pistol out of his pocket and shot that ole horse, clean dead right between the eyes, there on the road.

As he calmly walked back to the buggy his brand new wife sweetly asked "William, why did you shoot your only Horse ?
He just looked at her and said "Wife, that's the first time that you have ever questionioned my judgment" _
And The Way That I Understood The Story
"they never had a cross word since"!

The ceremony was beautiful. We wanted small and we got it. We had about 20-25 people show up. Since my wife's dad wasn't able to come to walk her down the aisle, my pastor volunteered to do it. He's great.

We honeymooned in San Antonio for a few days.

Beautiful pictures, Bro. Ron!

In the words of my wise, late grandmother-in-law, "Take care of each other." Simple words, but they have carried my marriage far.
