Okayyyyyy,
How would You set up the "perfect" church???? This means as to the church government, etc.
For example, I do not like big churches. One thing I would have set is that when the church reached a certain level of members, then the church would willingly split into two smaller churches but still be associated together.
That's just one idea. Do yall have any??? After all, how many of yall have thought, "if I was in charge..."
Just wondering,

Well, I personally think it would be nicer to have one or two larger UPC churches than to have 6 smaller ones in our city and it's immediate area, not to mention the other 4 that are either ALJC or independent.... Would certainly think their would be maybe more unity in the city amongst the churches. Could definitely see it as a plus for the teens.

Good question!
Will have to organize my list..lol
..and thoughts.
I think that a church modeled after how Paul taught..would be the closest to how JESUS meant us to be.

If I were ever to go about establishing a church I think I would try the plurality of elders approach, rather than having one man be in charge of the whole operation. I don't know if anyone has done this successfully but it is the direction I would want to head in. Of course, the day God calls on me to start a church will be the day He is in desperate need though. The perfect church to me is the Jesus name church that repents continually and walks humbly before God and has not lost their fire the Holy Ghost flames of fire they are made perfect through him "Jesus Christ being the Chief Cornerstone" Amen

So you wouldn't be interested in Joel Osteen's new "sanctuary" here in Houston -- seats 16,000 and there are 1 hour traffic jams getting TO church!
