I woke up today thinking upon what I feel the need to tell some lost people..

They think that JESUS came to condemn, to judge...and send people to hell.

BUT..thats not entirely true.

HE IS THE JUDGE, yes..........but HE came out of LOVE...to SAVE us..
that we might not perish!
That HE might not have to 'lose' any of us..EVER.

HE was not 'murdered'
HE GAVE HIS LIFE for a ransom for US!

I am so grateful that I came to realize this....and will forever be in gratitude to HIM! :bow:

Amen! You hit the nail right on the head. Something similar I was thinking, is did you ever see guys in particular who have a very expensive car, and especially on the weekends they are so particular in keeping it cleaned, waxed, and polished? They won't
let just anyone into their car. No food. No dirt. We saw our neighbour fawning over his
expensive car on Sunday when we came home from Church.
God showed me something.

That man was taking such tender care of his vehicle because it cost him a lot to purchase it.

We are bought with the precious blood of Christ. His very life, toil, trials, and suffering, we are the result of that. He will surely keep us, and take care of us, as it
cost him so much to purchase us. That which he paid everything for, he is able to take care of.

What Security! What assurance! What love!

It IS awesome, what HE shows us...in the midst of darkness..
HIS LIGHT illuminates TRUTH for us. :bow:

We do NOT depreciate in value, as do many animate objects..NO!
We grow (if we obey HIS word) into so much more..hopefully in the direction that HE leads..getting closer & closer, glory to glory..towards reflecting HIS image!

Tonight, in about an hour, I can't wait-a sisters conference/fellowship...it should be so-o much fun, and edifying..there is such love there amongst the sisters..we feel like little girls at times! :D

I've prepared a pasta salad, there will be much 'goodies' as well!
Praise GOD for giving me an alternative..and more abundant...lifestyle!

That night was a blessing! We listened to pastors wife speak about serving GOD 'from the heart'..great fellowship afterwards, too.


Being misunderstood is not a good feeling. I can imagine that JESUS while knowing HIS and mankinds future outcome, still had the human handicap of having feelings..and no doubt, HE hurt.
YET forgave through all that., wish I was more like HIM!
..I strive to be., and in the meantime, I struggle with hurt, too.
