I want to give God praise for His protection on all my family. I live in central Mississippi and we were affected by Katrina. The hurricane was a 3 when it hit here. My home has very minor damage. My dad and father-in-laws homes are surrounded by trees that fell away from their homes. They also have minor damage. I just got electricity last evening. I have learned not to take things here for granted any more. We could have been wiped out. Some of my neighbors have no homes. The damage is severe to their homes, with trees through them. I praise God for His protection. Continue to pray for all the communities. Even the ones farther north have some severe damage.
