I would like first to invite each person to visit: www.gowinsouls.com (http://www.gowinsouls.com) this web site has been created to help people wanting to win the lost to have tools, ideas and hear awesome soul winning messages.
At the General Conference this year after listening to the messsages, I went across the street to find information on Soul Winning. I asked a young lady to show me the books on soul winning, after approx. 20 minutes we were able to find one book on soul winning. It has stirred my soul in that I want to have revival, we hear so many messages about soul winning, revival, out reach etc... but in fact we as a body for the most part have not equipted the Saints with the tools and trainging needed for them to win the lost. I know we all believe in outreach, soul winning and revival, but I believe we need to start having think tank sessions in each district with people who can come up with new ideas on soul winning, I also believe this can be achieved by having real soul winners, not pastors but Saints who are out there in the fields winning the lost to be a part of such a conference. You see with what I find is that there are many who want to win the lost, but simply do not know how. We have to train these people. If we could have 2 real soul winners in each church we could not contain the revival! Just think, if you have 2 people winning souls, every other person in the church will catch on fire and want to participate. The mission of the church is to reach the lost, people are not going to fall into our churchs by the dozens, we have to reach out to them. This can be done folks, we can train people, we can win people! Make winning souls a priority of the UPCI and lets Go to work!

There is one avenue of soulwinning you forgot.
Faithfulness to church service and serving in the operations of the church.
Without this no one would be there to receive them and help them at the altars.
Without cheerful greeters at the door or wonderful sunday school teachers etc there would be less soul winning going on.
We are all part of winning souls from the pulpit to the pew to the janitors.
If the church is a pigsty and a new person comes what will they think?
We are a team of ministry.
Some people are very shy and feel they cannot door knock or teach bible studies.
That does not mean that the things they do at the house of God does not contribute.
OH contraire.
We often forget as motivated evangelists that it takes all parts of the body to win and keep that soul.
Whatever you have as a gift from God that brings glory and help to the Lord then use that gift.
Drop the guilt.
We are called to win our world.Not the world but our world.
BIG DIFFERENCE.If each does their part then they have fullfilledthe will of God in their lives.lv sis.c

Yes those are all important, my information is directed to every saint of God. We are all suppose to witness if we have the Holy Ghost, being shy is not a valid excuse, at least I dont see in the Bible where its excusable.

If you read the instructions to the Bible study, which you will have when you click the materials button on the site, it tells of ways that even shy people can witness. There are several things even timid people can do!

Stand on the solid rock!

We are truly entering into the end times, the soon coming of our Lord and Savior! While this shall be a time of rejoicing for the children of God we cannot help but to think of the lost. We have to learn to re-arrange our lives to reach the lost. So many things have stolen our time: work, play, etc... the whole time we enjoy all of the benefits of living, people are lost and going to hell…what will it take to wake us up as a body!

I have heard this question asked many times in my life: “Hey brother how is your church doing”? I have heard many people say “Were having revival brother! Then the person goes on to explain that in the last two months they have had 6 new people get the Holy Ghost! Yes this is very exciting to say the least. My thoughts though seem to wonder how we have learned to measure revival. Have we limited our vision of revival to a few souls per month? What if the number was more like 100 in a month saved? Even that would be limited compared to what I believe God wants to do for the church in the last days. Let’s get the vision of 500-1000 souls in a month, you might say that’s impossible, however nothing is impossible with God!

The whole revival idea will be understood with the vision for the lost, as we see people who are wondering around in this lost world without God we will begin to get hungry to see God work and bring these people to salvation! It is our job as the church to reach these people. We have to re-focus our priorities; we have to become soul minded!

We have what the world is looking for, I understand that people have witnesses in the past with little or no results, but we are now in a different time, we are in the end times, we cannot get weary in well doing! I ask each person that reads this to go into prayer and ask God to give us a fresh burden a new vision and seek him with all fervency!

I see many people saying they want to change the doctrine to reach more people; this is clearly not the answer. The answer is go reach the lost! Go into the world and reach someone! The answer to every problem can be answered through revival! We must stand upon the doctrine of the Apostles! This is not a time to go back this is a time to move forward, and if you cannot stand for truth you will lose out on what God has for you in your life! Think about these scriptures:

Whose fan is in his hand, and he will throughly purge his floor, and will gather the wheat into his garner; but the chaff he will burn with fire unquenchable.

11And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
12That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
13But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth:

I don't believe that was the point Sister C was trying to make...just that different people will "go out", "witness" and "evangelize" in different ways and those who are more subtle or behind the scenes are just as important and shouldn't be made to feel bad if they're not literally on the street corner preaching to strangers.

btw -- I'll have to go check out that message by Brother Suber...he's awesome, his last pastorate was the church I got married in ages ago and my father attended...I've heard some awesome messages and know he touched a lot of lives in my hometown.

Okay I don't know who you are personally and I respect that soulwinning you feel is a priority.I do as well.I took off three years of work and became the full time outreach director for my church.If you knew what I made in a year you would know I feel soulwinning is a priority.I do not however think trying to make other people in the body of Jesus Christ is a priority.I know its probably not alot compared to all the people you have won but I have won well over a hundred people personally to Jesus Christ through witnessing and home bible studies.I don't know it may be over two hundred because I don't keep a head count.
Now ...Do you think I think soulwinning is a priority?

I guess what I see has happened to us is the ability to feel the pain of the lost.

It is a miserable thing to be without hope, or peace, or someone to cry out to or lean on when the world comes tumbling in on you.

We have forgotten the Awesome power of prayer through genuine intercession.

And how desperate the world needs to feel the arms of someone (who can weep with them) around them in their midnight hour.

Sometimes all we have to do is give some one a hug in sincerety and the dam will break.

The world needs to feel Jesus in the message.....

Brother Tim,
I go on outreach weekly.I also witness on my job.I have won countless numbers of people to Jesus.But I do not think its my business to get on an apostolic forum and try to make everyone think I am a better and more at it soulwinner than they are.I also don't measure the other saints by what I do.Some have gifts I don't have.Just because some are shy and aren't out in the parking lot of Winn Dixie with Search for Truth and I am it doesn't mean they don't contribute to the kingdom.Yeah ...ahuh...thats the type I am.So what makes you think by my postings that I am not a soulwinner or that I don't feel I have to go out and do personel evangelism???
Oh yeah one more thing.I don't feel its my job to put the saints on a guilt trip about it either.The bible says those who are led by the Spirit are the sons of God.If you are Spirit led then some days you may just be doing inreach not outreach.JMHO.lv sis.c

Yes, I clicked on the options on the left side of the page and it went to a white page with the website written on it in that page. So I pasted and copied to the search engine but it came back to the same page......I will try again now :)

Same thing happened. :) thought I would click on the man for the video clip but it came up with all these typed characters which I couldn't understand:)

I also have real player on my computer, though I think I have Winamp ticked somewhere to be the main thing that plays music and clips. I will look into that when my husband is home.

I had the same problem on my friend's dell...... yet every other computer I have been on and every other browser I have been able to get on the site fine....
