Hi again, my husband went for his interview, and it's looking good! They gave him a drug test, which I wouldn't think they would give a person without wanting to hire them, so we're just waiting for them to call back which they said would be between now and the weekend some time. Thanks for the prayer. Continue to pray we get a good phone call soon! Thanks again.

Normally when they give a drug test as long as the person passes they get hired why? Drug tests cost the company money so I see its looking good! Amen!

Good point Estrada!

When I decide to hire someone, they are required to pass the UDS before it's official. Cost to the company for these tests are actually very small, but the fact that I have considered someone to the point of the test is definitely a foot in the door.

What will he be doing?

Well, he's starting out on the low end of the totem pole, and he will be bagging groceries and bringing carts in, cleaning, that kind of work. He got hired by Krogers. We are thankful he got a job, and it's good to know he can advance after he's been there a while. It's been quite a relief to us both.

I am glad for you both.
Being without work is hard on everyone.
After I had my last child I stayed home to be with both of my children....what we did not know.. was that my husbands place of employment was getting ready for a huge lay off.
We found out on his birthday about the layoff.
God spoke to me and told me that everything would be alright, actually more than alright, that when it was all over, things would be better than before.
The layoff came 60 days later.. God saw us through, and 3 months later he was able to transfer to a plant his company owned in Va..

Now I made that sound pretty cut and dry, but believe me the devil tormented us nonstop, but we kept holding onto his word..

Yeah, that is so true. The devil tried to do everything to discourage us, and sometimes we had a hard time trying to keep a positive outlook on things, but I am thankful God provided for us. :)

I have better news! Joe got a call from the hospital wanting him to come for an interview for a phlebotomist job on Tuesday! If he gets this job it would be GREAT! Please keep us in prayer. This would provide so much relief for us! Thanks!
