My husband is on a plane (single engine) ride to near Mexico to see a dentist across the border. A friend of a friend's (non Apostolic) who owns this plane, was going over there, it just so happened, to take his kids to the dentist over there, as we were also thinking of driving there, today, he's got really bad tooth pain. Dentistry is so-o much cheaper over there, so are med's (so we have heard). I just spoke with him by cell phone, they are okay, but had no idea of this storm over here!! There is a mega-thunderstorm here, funnel clouds have been sighted...please pray for their safe return/landing here. Its pretty awful here, I have been praying all morning, I know the LORD is faithful to provide protection...and well, I am a bit concerned, though! lol
He is not right with GOD.
Anyway, I took a chance even getting on the computer what with electrical storms around us...streets are heavily flooded I was out driving around town when it started suddenly., I was right by an area where a funnel cloud was spotted, and I did not even know it, the LORD was as always, protecting me all along, Halleluyah!
Please everyone pray for this city.
Sis Joan, you are coming over here at a very WET time, its supposed to rain/thunderstorm through Friday-Sat!!!!!!!!
Oh well, GOD is in control!

Hi, I just got in and checked my messages. I hope they got back safely? How is your husbands tooth? Has the storm calmed?

Hi Marie! Well, he got it pulled (looks u-u-g-g-g-l-l-y) I had told him not to show it to me, he did anyway! lol YUCKY!
Well, the LORD once again was merciful, and all went well, thanx also to prayers of the 'saints' here!! And I mentioned that the storm stopped within a short time after I'd been praying. I was a bit 'afraid' that they might fly into the worst part of this storm over us, in trying to land.
BUT, thanx to cellphones also, I was able to alert them to stall a bit before leaving to come back here! So during that stall time, they went had lunch (somehow he ate!), and shopped a bit. I was so-o relieved that all went well, and this was my husband's FIRST plane ride, to boot! Yup!
He and I both had sworn to never fly especially after 9-11 incident in New York! But this plane was a far cry from the type used there. And he could not resist! It was fun, he said, even though a bit scary., and his bad tooth was an emergency situation. He paid about 1/5 of the cost it would've been here! And he brought me back a gift! I of course, had stayed here and 'shopped' as well! Got my mind off thinking about him up there! The sudden storms started while I was in the store! and I had also bought him a gift along with other household items. He works very hard, he deserved that day off to get rid off that pain, and a gift, for bravery!
Thanks for your prayers, Marie. My you stay up late! Oh, forgot, you're in a different time zone! lol ;)

Hi Tufluv
It was very late! I've been doing very good going to bed early these days, but my Sister drove me home from the city where I had my appointment(she lives there). And when we get together we still do as we did when we were young. We talk and laugh all night! Sometimes till 4 or 5 in the morning. LOL Sometimes we laugh till our bellies hurt. It is great fun! That is till we have to get up in the morning. LOL:bore:
I'm sorry that I missed what you said about praying for the storm, that is wonderful! Praise God!!
I think it was about 1 am and I was trying to explain how the Cafe works. LOL Karen knows nothing  about computers, so it was quite fun to try to explain! LOLOLOL If we lived in the same time I think I would enjoy teaching her. An outside observer would think we were quite beside ourselves sometimes!! Maybe sometime I will tell you about when she was teaching me to drive!!! ROFL We still laugh when we drive by the area. :)
So sad that your husband had to have his tooth pulled.:( OUCH! But better than suffering from a tooth ache!:flame: It is nice that he enjoyed his first plane ride.:) It is quite nice once you get up there and can see the world from a "birds eye view". The landing and takeoff can be a bit nerve racking until you get used to it though! The view is breathtaking!
Enjoy your special gifts! (Although I think the gift is more in the knowledge that you were thinking about each other;) )
Have a great day!

Marie, you are quite intuitive! Thanks for your kind words. As for you and your sisters relationship, it reminds me of my sister and me, wish she was still here! She died 6 yrs ago of breast cancer at age 34. We had such fun together, though. We'd laugh so-o much at the silliest things! And it would hurt my sides! We were crazy at times when she was just a teen, those were the best times.
As for my husband, yes, I don't know what I'd do w/o him, even though he is not serving the LORD, presently, he is still my best friend (after JESUS, of course) although I do wish I could fellowship with him...well just a few minutes ago, we WERE both listening to some christian music he was downloading on this computer and he was singing along to one song, called Psalm 36!
Theres HOPE! I pray and dream, it CAN become a reality! He's got a good voice, but is shy. He needs the HOLYGHOST!!
He really liked being up HIGH, I told him, thats just a foretaste! All Apostolics should like being up 'where eagles fly'!! Hehe! He's thinking about going again, he still needs more work, and is considering hiring this guy again, to take us both!

Oh! Do go! I think you would enjoy it! I was terrified the first couple of times! But, I enjoy it now. The first time I was in cadets and actually got to fly the plane! It was a little 13 seater. It is sooo peaceful up there! Just imagine you are flying with the Angels!:)

Thanks for the confidence, Marie! I will go but not sure when, I HAVE flown in larger planes, but its been many years. Back then I was very nervous at first, but I did drink, then, so that helped me out. Thats out of the question now. Anyway, I did enjoy it then, although that was a much higher altitude. He told me in this small plane, they have to stay under 6000 sq.ft. lower than the bigger passenger ones. Oh well. It was still great, he said. Well going to bed now, its past midnight here.
You lucky girl, you got to fly. I think I would like to learn to fly, AND have my own plane! Dream on! I will. Ya never know what the LORD has planned for each and every saint, I only know its good! Nite, nite!
