What is Apostolic Ministry?

I am doing a speech on What is Apostolic Ministry and I would appreciate any help on this. If you have links that would help me with this, that would be appreciated as well.

I would add that we are to project our inner LIGHT of TRUTH, to lead or prepare the pathway to the LORD! We are the only JESUS some people may ever see, or have never seen! Or even heard of! :confused:
Also we must tell or teach those about the mercy of JESUS, that they can be saved by grace, and spared from an eternity without HIM. That they must read the WORD, and heed Acts2:38, being baptized in the only name given under heaven to men, by which they must be saved.

This is Apostolic Ministry!!

WE as the Apostolic church, the body of Christ, is a continuation of Christ here on Earth.

I am truly sorry that I know not any apostolic links. But maybe I Samuel 17:39-40 will help.
This is a type of the five-fold Ministry, which of course includes the apostle. The apostle (which is translated 'sent') was sent against Goliath and struck him on the forehead. Jesus was also 'sent' against our goliath (satan), and defeated him.

Beloved, we (the Church) have authority to tread upon serpents and scorpions; but there are many townships, regions, and countries where goliaths have risen and have been provoking the Church to shame. Surely we still need the Apostolic Ministry to come and strike the goliaths on their foreheads.
The Lord has NOT called neither prophets nor evangelists for this task, nor pastors and teachers; rather they have been called to be in the "...shepherd;s bag..."; to care for the Church. We are called "...for the edification of the body of Christ, for the work of the ministry, for the perfecting of the saints ..." (I hope no one minds the inversion of this particular scripture. I found I understood it better when the Lord first showed this to me. It shows the growth from child to adult)

Church, let us pray that the Lord restores the Apostolic Ministry.
