View Full Version : Brand new nephew...

My brand new nephew, Benjamin Vine, was born two days ago. He's already having problems maintaining his blood sugar levels. He's being brought to a specialist hospital, Westchester Medical Center in Westchester county, NY. Please pray for his healing and recovery.

I just got news from my mom about my nephew:

Hi all.

Well Lisa, Jon and I just got back from spending time at the hospital with
Baby Ben! He has improved greatly!! His sugar is now up to 80! It was
over 100 but came down some. When he left St. Anthony's on Thursday it was
only 17!!! They don't want it to be any lower than 70. They removed the
feeding tube today but he still has the IV connected with the glucose
feeding into his body. They will be weaning him from that today and
hopefully tomorrow they will remove it and see how he does on his own......
If he stays stable he may be able to come home by the end of the week!!!

We are definitely encouraged by this, but please continue to keep him in prayer, as he's not out of the woods yet.

His parents are not in church in any way and my mom is catholic, so please pray for them as well.

My wife and I will be flying up there next week, and my uncle, who is Apostolic, will also be there from WV. We're all going to keep our eyes open for chances to witness to them without being forceful about it... My mom's heard it a lot, in a polite, loving way, form my uncle, as well as myself.

Please pray that God would open doors for us, and tugs at their hearts...

I just got a note this morning.
Benjamin made it home yesterday.

Thank you Lord for answering the prayers of your people!

And thank all of you that prayed... now... if we could only get my family to open their hearts to the Truth... :)
