Praise the Lord. I have been giving my Mum bible studies over the internet for a while now. When she came to Australia, from N.Z for a holiday with me, over two years ago I did the bible study Into His Marvelous Light. She didn't respond as i would have hoped.
I have been praying for her of course and then late last year she asked me to send some small bible studies over to her so she can get more from Jesus Word. So I have been doing that. i am also praying for her for when she comes over later this year,(God willing) that she will be wanting to get re-baptised in the prescious name of Jesus, and come up speaking in tongues. Cos the little church she goes to back home is trinity, baptism and tongues is a personal choice etc.
I have given her bible studies from our Home Friendship Group so they have been on the basics. She has loved all of them and always wants more. I have sent over studies on Repentence,Baptism, Holy Ghost, Stewardship, Holiness, just touching on this, the Godhead, (she didn't take to kindly to that one).
It is difficult to know what to send her next, as she wants them each week, which I rejoice in.
She is 75 years old and I so want her to come to this precious truth.
Have you any ideas or advice to get her to that place where she will realise she is not going the right way? All I can think of to do now is repeat some of the studies we have done and Pray, Pray, Pray!!! It will be Jesus who does the rest in her, but not sure how to get that fire stoked up in her enough.
Sorry this is a long post but I need you to have a little back ground.

Sister you are on the right track.Don't second guess yourself.
Just love your mom to truth.
Here is something that really works when reasoning with someone who already love Jesus to help them move tword baptism.How about sharing that when a woman marries a man she takes on his name.The church which is the bride of Jesus Christ takes on his name.Share how in baptism we are baptised into his death.The name on the tombstone is the name of the person whose grave it is legally.And legally its Jesus's grave.
Tell her you know she's had a wonderful love affair with Jesus.And then ask her if she's ready to take on his name in baptism as well.Maybe a better understanding of the New Covenant would be what you should share with her.Keep it simple.And oh look for something that is not to busy with distracting pictures.The whole time you are sharing she will be so distracted with the pretty pictures.We women are like that...sis.c

It does sound like you are on the right track.:) As Sister C says, just keep loving her!

Father, would you give Sister Burning's mother a love for truth and to see the falseness of the trinity doctrine. Open her heart to recieve these Bible studies as from You. Show her that to take on Your name in baptism is an honor and priviledge to be treasured. And that she is taking a step closer to you in doing so. Take her in Your loving arms and wipe away any doubts she may have. Love her through her daughter. let Your love shine through as Burning shares with her mother Your precious Words of Love. Anoint Your daughter, Burning and put Your Words in her heart to be spoken with love to her mother. Anoint the heart and mind of the mother that she would take Your Words into her heart and cherish them for all times.

Have you tried the "More to Life" Bible study? You can get it through the Pentecostal Publishing House.

Thank you Sister Marie. What a lovely prayer!! No I haven't heard about the "More to Life" bible study. I will look into that.
When we order them in from the States we have to double the price of everything. That makes everything very expensive. I will still have a look though.
Have any of you heard about the bible study called "Time For Truth/Youth for Truth" I have an address here at Grand Rapids MN 55744 EV- Evangelism Tools For the Revival Church.
I liked the look of that one and felt prompted to talk people with the money in our church into getting it over. It was because of the pictures which are really good. Because I am in the Deaf ministry and have heard that they like bold colours and pictures to grab their attention, I thought it was worth a try. When I got it I find it really good!! I am doing the study with Melissa who is deaf and she is really enjoying it.
I think as word gets out around our church people, who do bible studies, about this study it will be quite popular.
Why I bought that up for is that I am wanting to know if anyone is connected to the above church and if they can get in touch with them for me as they are not answering my email, which I sent off over a week ago. (Maybe I am a tad impatient?) We want to start a page for the Deaf Ministry on our Website, but have no graphics I can think of that would go with the page, and when I saw this study with the big colourful chart that comes with it I thought this would be perfect. But they are not answering my email as I said before. so if someone can help me with this and know some one who goes to that church or can make enquiries I would be really greatful.
Once again this is a lengthy post. I am sorry. But I was thinking how I could get in touch and this was the way that came to mind straight away.
It is such a blessing to be able to do this, ask for help and get it!! Wow!!! God has blessed me so much in more ways than I can put in this post.(Any way it would become tooooo long!!:):):)

I know what you mean about prices doubling! We are "neighbors" to the States and our prices almost double because of the exchange rate and border taxes. I have often wished we could have a branch of the publishing house here in
Canada.
