Praise the Lord!
A man in our church had a heart attack and was dead for 28 minutes. They were applying the shock treatment and the doctor presiding said, "Why are you trying to raise a dead man?"
His wife screamed at the top of her lungs, "Don't you dare leave me alone like this. Get back into that body!!!!!"
The doctor later said he saw something that looked like a spark in his eyes and he began to breath.
TWO days in ICU and he is in his own room not having to have open heart surgery!!!!!!!
The hospital staff said that he should have died. Not only from the heart attack, but because they had to cut a vein in his neck at the outset. We don't spend much time around doctors so I dont' know about all the procedures. Some of you might.
God is still performing miracles.
The man said that all he remembers is a hand reaching to him and a voice saying, "If you will take my hand I will guide you the rest of the way." He said, "I will trust you Jesus."
So, he's been a backslider and just started coming back to church, before the heart attack, and is excited to see what God is going to do with his life from here on out and we are too!!!
God is good! He is still doing miracles! We are the New Testament church!!!
