I have been praying for a long time that God would get me on day shift so I could start teaching home bible studies. A couple weeks ago I asked God for more of the Holy Ghost, a bigger blessing. He told me, "you don't need any more, you haven't used what you allready have!" I began to seek something to do and I feel like I got the answer the other day. I am starting a bible study class of coworkers next week. We will be meeting before work for one hour a week at a local waffle house. I have two signed up so far! I need prayer big time for boldness, wisdom, and effectiveness. This is a big step for me! I am real nervous. I also stoped by one of my old friends house today. Haven't seen him in close to three years. Him and his wife were my best friends at one time. But varying things caused us to drift apart. He greeted me warmly and chatted for an hour. He let me know before I could even invite him to church he would not come.
So I didn't mention it anymore. He spent the whole hour pouring out all his troubles! I just listened.
He has alot of troubles too. I could tell it meant alot to him to have someone to just listen to him. I will be visiting his wife in jail next week. He says she claims to be done with her alcoholism and is serving the Lord now. She gets out in a couple weeks and I hope to have rekindeled our friendship and teach her truth and get her coming to my church, ( the local prison ministry is not apostolic). I believe my friend will come if he sees a dramatic change in his wife, they seperated before she went to jail.
Any way I am excited and I am finally getting some boldness and seeing some things happening, pray for my friend Mike and His wife and for my newly emerging bible study class!
God bless, Bro. Jimmie

Brother Jimmie,

May the Lord Jesus bless your Bible Study abundantly! I was in the same fix (2nd Shift) but the Lord made a way. The 2nd shift needs salvation as well brother. I had prayed for a ministry and the Lord was dealing with me to use the word that my heart was already full of. I got a little bold one and began to ask people if they would like to sit in on a Bible Study and to my surprise, 6 people said yes. We studied "Exploring God's Word" right there on the shipping docks during our lunch break. Since that study, I was promoted and now work in a big office for the same Company. Being a little more confident, I figured the office people need to hear the good news as well. I sent out an email to a few people and mentioned a lunch time Bible study. We have as many as 18 people coming and 6 souls were already saved this year. Jesus is so awesome. Teach the truth in meekness and love and watch the word do the work.

Dear Brother J.
When you step out by faith for Jesus He will give you all you need to do the work for Him. What is happening with you and the Bible studies is not by accident God is moving you into the fields for harvest.
After you have studied and prepared take your pen and paper to prayer with you and jot down the things God puts into your spirit as you think about Him and the notes you have prepared.
Also the Word of God says to fear not for what you will say, to open your mouth and He will fill it and that the Word is nigh thee even in thy mouth.
Because you have a burden for souls God will multiply your fields so take a big bucket!
Just remember that what you have begun was started by the Lord. Those desires were not in you before you came to Him and He is now the author and finisher of your faith so just let His Light shine through you in love and He will do the rest.
Am looking forward to hearing all the good reports!
Also you will find yourself praying more and more as God brings more and more of the hungry to these studies.
Cover each one with prayer over and over again for they do not know how yet but God has allowed you the privilage of interceding for them....We will also be praying for you and them. Love Ya' in Jesus!!! Cherokee

Anyone who desires to do a work for God will be rewarded with
exactly what they are asking.Who Bro.Jimmie do you think put the desire for a job that works better with soulwinning? That did not come from you.It came from Jesus. So now pray for the leading of the Holy Ghost and begin to apply for jobs that meet those qualifications.Don't be surprised that while you are out searching someone calls and offers you the perfact job.But put legs on that prayer.lv sis.c
