Please pray for the people in the town of Magee, MS. A tornado hit there last night damaging 60 plus homes, destroying one church and injuring many people. My son, his wife and new baby were in Magee last night. He called me around 2 am this morning saying, "mama help us pray, they say a tornado is headed right for us." I jumped up and began to pray for their protection and looked at radar. It looked bad, real bad. I told him to call the police dept and see what they were saying. He called me back and said they told him to take cover as the storm looke imminent. We prayed more he said it got really quiet outside then the rain became torrential. The storm went about a mile in another direction from them. I am so thankful they were not harmed but so sad for those who were.

MAGEE, Miss. - A tornado destroyed dozens of homes and businesses in a small Mississippi community early Thursday, injuring several people and flattening a church although there were no immediate reports of fatalities.
A heavy mantle of fog hampered rescuers as they tried to determine the extent of the damage and reach any survivors after the tornado rampaged through a residential area on a day when powerful thunderstorms rumbled across the Southeast.
Downed power lines and scraps of metal and downed tree limbs littered roads and highways leading from the Mississippi town of Magee, prompting state transportation officials to warn motorists to stay off the routes as rescue crews sought to reach any victims.......
