I know what you mean, Jason.
I, myself, am Baptist. My father's side of the family are huge pentecostal members and sometimes I wonder if they're getting enough spiritual food on what God did for them and how they can be really saved.

I don't kinow what you are referring to here, but being a one time Baptist myself, I can tell you I get way more bible teaching now than I ever got in the Baptist church. My Pastor teaches the Whole Bible from cover to cover and encouraged us to study it for ourselves, and to follow along as he reads.

I'm no longer a saved sinner, but a sinner saved from sin by the grace of God and the power of the Holy Ghost. I would encourage you to study the book of acts where the early church began for better understanding.

God Bless,

You know I can help but wonder where is our charity? When the woman was caught in the act of adultery Jesus simply told her acusers that the one without sin cast the first stone and they all turned and walked away. Jesus ask her where was her acusers and she said,"I have none." Jesus said, "Neither do I condemn you go and sin no more."

But how many times do we see that attitude today? I have seen people fall and instead of restoring them in love they are just stomped down. I have heard acoholics that say that they would never go to an apostolic church. Why? Because they are condemned and looked down on.

Why can't we have the attitude, "except by the grace of God there I walk." When you see a drug addict, acoholic, prostitute or etc, you don't know what has gone on in their lives. Did they really choose that or did things happen in their life that made them that way? Yes, everyone has a right to choose but then when a person is raised in things sometimes they see no way out.

The Bible saids if we do great things but yet have no charity we are nothing more than a tinkling cymbal. So do you think a tinkling cymbal is going to heaven. I don't think so.

The Bible says, "God is love." When we receive the Holy Ghost then we are suppose to receiving God into our lives. If that is the case then there should be love in our hearts.

No one is special. So next time you see an acoholic or drug addict, stop and think, except for the grace of god there I go.
